Anyone ever quit smoking cold turkey?
LauraLeigh Farms replied to jennilyn77's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I quit cold turkey 18 years ago. I started smoking at 15 and smoked for 25 years. It's not easy but it can be done. -
My favorite line is from a Dylan song: "Happiness is a state of mind. Anytime you want you can cross the state line."

St.Patrick missed one.

I hope I didn't offend anyone with that one. "Sinéad Lohan - I know she's not a "band" but she is my favorite Irish singer/songwriter..." I really enjoyed the video. Do you know if you can find her music on CD Baby?

My daughter and I plan to visit Ireland within the next couple of years to visit the area where my great grandfather was born. "The Quiet Man" is my favorite movie of all time.

The first time I heard this song I almost ran off the road!

Although Van Morrison will always be my favorite, this song has made me smile for over 40 years. It's on my MP3 player so I can listen when I want a spirit lift. Northern Ireland affiliations.

I would like for my truck to have been "built, assembled, made" in the U.S.A. by a U.S. company. I also would have liked for the folks on the line to have been my friends, family and neighbors. Your statement applies to a lot of items, not just cars. The New Balance shoes mentioned earlier are assembled in the U.S.A. from foreign materials. I spent 32 years in the metals industry. You wouldn't believe how many U.S. military vehicles contained Russian aluminum before the "Buy American Act" crack down. Even then, much of the material was made outside the U.S.
