Both Black Hat And White Hat People Have Influenced Us
Teatime replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Life experiences are what shape us and our views. If I hadn't been an only, lonely kid .. I wouldn't put nearly as much value into family. If I hadn't been previously married to a money hungry man, I wouldn't value a man that does what's needed but it also home every night. I think we all learn as we go .. and I think we all wish we had known things a little earlier in life. I don't think it's a matter of being smart. I think it has more to do with wisdom and that usually comes with age and experience. -

We are a funny family. My 20 year old son still hugs me and tells me he loves me .. every time I walk out the door. We are a kissy, huggy, lovey dovey family. I believe it's all that matters. Having food, a home .. really doesn't mean much if it isn't filled with love. My mom on the other hand is just figuring that out. She grew up poor. When I was born, she joined the navy in order to take proper care of me. She left me for years with my very cold grandmother in order to do so. Growing up, I was a lonely kid. I hid in my room and played cards " that's why I shuffle so well " Now that she's -
I have 4 teens and 2 preteens ... not a single problem waking any of them up They also have no bedtimes, I know I'm terrible. I actually go to bed before they do. They are all up by 8am the next day. Some of them set their alarms and are up, some I have to knock on their door, but they are all in the kitchen eating breakfast by 8am.

My kids are a little older now. When they were younger, we occasionally got them vtech items. Every time, we were disappointed and here is why. While they collected dust, our daughters read books, played with real puzzles, and played on computer games. For travel, they take notepads and draw. They read books, and sing songs. High tec toys only ended up in garage sales, in our house. My kids do play on playstation occasionally. They love rock band However, when it comes to learning, I have found nothing beats the cheap old fashion way.

Check thrift stores. My daughter loves him and we've found many toys at thrift stores.

My kids create costumes every year. It makes things more fun. They usually buy old jeans or whatever, at thrift stores. I have a zombie ( flannel shirt and jeans ), A demon ( she sews her costumes ), A vampire ( using her own clothes ) we just bought the teeth, a pinata ( he has a blow up stick, so kids can smack him to get candy out ) lol.

Just smile at him It's amazing how freaked out people get when you smile at them. Try some relaxing music, smile at him, and watch him squirm trying to figure out what you're up to .. and feel good in the process.

This is why it's so hard to help people anymore Jennifer's Pet Rescue does everything that they can to help animals find homes. Nobody is perfect, but I have such a tremendous amount of respect for her, for just trying. My daughter volunteered for her, for a few years. It's not easy what they do. It's so easy to sit back, point fingers, gossip and do " nothing ". I want to thank Caroline for doing everything that she could to help Frank. She did something out of the goodness of her heart, and look how she is treated by these people ? It's makes it hard to be a good person, and that is

We closed our account last week and switched to a credit union. I wasn't sure what problems were going to pop up, but I knew they would. -
Not everyone is a Christian. Some folks are pagan, and actually have their own holiday to celebrate on Saturday. My family won't be changing anything.

We'll be giving candy out on Sunday ( Halloween ). Saturday we celebrate Samhain.

My husband and I went and saw the Dalai Lama for our 10th wedding anniversary last week. Anyway, on the way out I received this poem =) Every day, think as you wake up today, I am fortunate to have woken up, I am alive, I have a precious human life. I am not going to waste it, I am going to use all of my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others, to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts toward others, I am not going to get angry, or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can

I would talk to Johnboy automotive on here. He has helped my husband a multitude of times. He's answered many questions and fixed our vehicles many times.

Both of my younger daughters got them christmas last year. I didn't think they would last long, as in them actually still wanting them 3 months later lol. But, they do .. those pet pillows are still the first thing they grab when they go to bed at night.

This is why I like to go when it's empty ... sheesh. I feel sorry for these kids, with parents like that ... I hope they don't take after them.

I'm sorry you've been through so much My mom got it from her dad. He died at the age of 70. Which is actually pretty good for the list of ailments that he had. I remember since early childhood everyone saying how he didn't have much longer. He made it allot longer than anyone predicted. As I mentioned earlier that my mom has it. She also has had to deal with Bladder Cancer, supposedly it's connected somehow. The cysts that you get on your kidneys really can grow anywhere. It's the most common inherited disease in America. I hope they find a cure for it someday. -
Hubby and I also did EQ1 for many years. We started playing WoW at launch. I get burnt out and sometimes takes months off at a time. It's funny, you go back after a few months and nothing has changed. People are still fighting the same bosses, and trade chat is still unbearable. It reminds me of soap operas lol. I do enjoy my guild though. They are the only reason I keep playing. We are all parents. We all have jobs and we all have to be in bed before midnight lol. Our guild doesn't allow anyone under the age of 21. We aren't a big guild, but we're very effective. and we all get along great. T

I was diagnosed at 28. I developed a really bad kidney infection and found out through testing, that I have kidney disease. I haven't been back to the doctor since. I haven't needed to, thank goodness. I hope the tests give you some answers. Kidney problems are not fun Hang in there. -
Yup, I play Horde I play a priest on the Uldaman server. Been playing online games for over 11 years now. Still manage to be a mom and pay my bills ( I know shocking ) lol. Hubby and I play together .. the kids oddly, don't play much at all. They actually got tired of it early on. We usually play for a few hours at night before bed and on the weekends, if life allows. Our guild is ranked 5th on the server. We run ICC heroic 25's on Tues and Wed night. We do 10 man on Thurs and Fri. Sun night is for Ruby Sanctum or if we happen to have VOA.

I have PKD .. kidney disease. I inherited from my mother. She refuses to watch what she eats. She drinks 10 cups of coffee a day. She's 58 with only one kidney left. The other is on its way out. Because of her, I've done my research. Any soda is bad for you, period. The salt content is bad for you, as people with kidney disease are prone to high blood pressure. The caffeine dehydrates you, making things worse. You're also supposed to stay away from foods high in protein ( thanks goodness I'm a vegan ). Protein puts extra strain on your kidneys, making them work harder. Also keeping your weight
