There is not a middle school anywhere near PCHS. More than likely, she had already been dropped off by the middle school bus......if she went to school. There is not a middle school within a mile of PCHS.

Zach was in the back seat.

You are SO right TT. Many people are outside the "inner circle" and may not hear of a tragedy until weeks after the event. If they had known, they would have wanted to be there--doing life together.

As I stated earlier, I am sure the family would want their names out so that they don't have the burden of having to tell every single person they come in contact with about it for the next six months. It's like reliving the death all over again. As one who has lived this nightmare and being an extremely private person, you really don't know how you will respond until you have lived it. As private as I am, my baby had just died! The world stopped that day and I'm glad everyone knew my world stopped! NOW, I will say, the details, rumors, gossip, insinuations of wrong-doing (He proba

I have to agree with Surepip. Braddock should not be allowed to run if she can't follow the rules. Why have the rule if you are not going to enforce it? More concerning however, is the fact that this may be indicative of her nature and general lack of discipline. How in the world is she going to effectively represent us if she can't get this one report done? DISCLOSURE: I am on the fence on this particular election. I have met both candidates and plan to talk to them again. If Will didn't have that big ole D next to his name, he would probably have my vote. He may still get it, b

To those of you criticizing the publicizing the names.....from a parent who has lost a daughter in a tragic way: Once we had been notified and had gotten our other children home and told them--and told our daughter's closest friends, we were glad for the public notification. It was horrible enough to have to tell them. I think half of Paulding County.......10% of Cobb County and all of our WestRidge family were at our house within 24 hours. I was not upset that it was posted on p.com....or anywhere else. Honestly, that was the last thing on my mind at the time. I was overwhelmed and

OP, stick to your guns. Boys HATE sitting. When mine was that age, making him sit at the table....or on the sofa with no TV, no toys, nothing but BOOKS was the most effective discipline. It took three times in a row --2 hours the first notice, 4 hours the second notice and 6 hours(until bedtime) the third time. what kids don't see in their own homes much these days is consistency. If my son had said what yours did, I would have looked at him, smiled and said...."well, I guess I know what you will be doing tomorrow afternoon!" I also emailed the teacher (actually PE teacher) and a

My kids would "wrassle". One day daughter #1 was sitting on daughter #2. #2 says, "Get off! You're hurting my pancreas!" She was about 4. How the heck did she know what a pancreas was??? -
1974 VW Bug. My Daddy bought it and I didn't like it, but he told me I could drive it or his nasty brown mustard toyota carolla. So I drove the red Bug. This pic isn't my actual car. But looks just like mine. Wish I had kept her.

I've got two. I know one is an 83. I think the other is an 86. Not sure. They are at the house. $40 for either one. If you are interested, I will call my daughter and have her check.

I second the lemons. I had an older lady suggest it to me when I was sick. I doubted it would help, but it was all I needed. I carried cut up lemons everywhere. As soon as the nausea started, I pulled out a lemon slice and within 10 seconds, the nausea stopped. LGM, do everything you can to stay away from drugs. I don't care what the docs say about stuff being "safe". The more I learn (much of doctor's "education" is funded by the pharmacuetical companies), the less I trust what my dr tells me. I know ginger is a great anti-nausea agent. Maybe you can find a way to take it that

Don't know if my hormones would be unstable enough that I would physically jump in. I did jump onto the hood of a moving car once--kids were racing down our street and almost ran over my daughter--but that was almost twenty years ago. I do know that I would pull my cell out and let them know they were being videotaped--especially if someone else was calling 911.

Yikes! I just got the message too! Trojan.

And from the accountant's perspective: the system is broke. The Georgia Dept of Revenue makes the IRS look positively efficient! They can't audit and monitor every business. The can't even find their way to the break room. An example: a client has May sales tax due June 20th. The check is mailed in June 2nd and clears the bank June 12th. Two months later client receives a letter demanding payment for the May sales tax plus penalty and interest. Client (or client's accountant) than has to make copies of cleared checks and write a letter explaining the the (*&^^ that it was paid on

Ya'll are confusing me. Are we talking about the county STICKER with the year on it.....or the bottom of the plate where the county name is? See, I know the STICKER must be visible, but since you can get specialty plates that don't have the county listed, I kind of doubt it's required. Anybody????

Handel highly impressed me when she was on the Fulton BOC. She is not afraid to call out the shady dealings and dealers. She has that experience plus her stint as Secretary of State----a good bit more experience that our current PRESIDENT.

We were stuck around 30 minutes ---looked like a truck and a white car. Both badly damaged...especially the car. The whole front was bashed in. .....that's all I got.

I can't compare the two or comment on the portable, but I have had a flatbed a couple of years and love it. I think I paid about $90-$100 for it at Staples. Very easy to use and about 5 seconds to scan a page.
