The sodium is not a concern for me. My blood pressure is below normal. And I guess I don't consider 400-500 calories for a meal to be bad.

That's the part that puzzles me. I don't remember anyone ever complaining about OG until now. I know what cha mean though MD. I don't frequent a lot of eating establishments in the county (don't eat pig--omits a LOT of PC restaurants!) but the more we have available, the less likely I have to wait to get a seat at my favorites. Oh, and I am in love with Olive Tree and will patronize both OT & OG.

No idea, but I walked into the Hiram post office Saturday afternoon and there was a teen (or young adult) standing in there charging his phone or ipod in an outlet inside the PO. Hmmmmm. -
Never mentioned eating the breadsticks....bud. Salad and minestrone soup --think that's what I wrote.

Ya know, for the past several years, everytime a "what is that new place" post showed up here, people have been wishing and pining for an Olive Garden. Now that it looks like they may be actually opening, it's all criticism. I don't care for a lot of their dishes, but I love the salad and minestrone soup. I like the atmosphere, the coffees, desserts. I'm mostly excited that we are getting new business even in the midst of a crappy economy. If you've had burnt food and/or bad service, that's the fault of individual management....not the OG chain. I for one will welcome them and eat a

Olive Tree? First visit was very good. The food was excellent other than the bread-I mentioned to hubby that night how odd that such a classy little restaurant that has been in business in other locations for years would have such drab bread. I guess somebody must like it for them to not upgrade. Mr BW ordered the big Greek sampler plate and a large salad and raved about everything. I ordered lasagna and a large Greek salad. The waitress ended up bringing up both small side salads and not what we ordered. (I think mine was a side house salad.) Having never been there before, I didn't

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: Where there is a government program to "help the poor, elderly, disabled, etc., there is massive fraud and abuse. Until we, as a people, are willing to give up our "entitlements", we will be in bondage to Lord government. -
I hope animal control asks for some proof the dog is theirs. They ought to have shot records, vet bills, ....they said the dog was chipped? Let's see the receipt for that. Idiots.

Excellent points Subby....with one small "edit". Back "in the day"--the '50's, '60's, '70's--the standards of "middle class" were much lower. A 800 sf house, one car, one tv, seldom eating out, etc. was the signs of "success". Nobody would have imagined a family would "need" 3000-4000 square feet of house, a triple garage, a tv, entertainment center, ipod, computer for every person in the house. OH and don't forget a cell phone for every person over 5! The major difference in our country the past 50 years? DEBT! NO ONE lived off credit cards when I was growing up. My parents only used

The updated wsbty report answered my question. The 59 year old male trainee was driving. The 45 year old female bus driver was on the bus and was injured. How very sad for all involved.
-
wsbtv states that the bus driver was a 45 year old. Was there a "trainee" and a bus driver on the bus?

Thank you for your service....and thank you for raising a son to value service. As an Air Force brat of a 30 year career AF vet, I know the sacrifices. God bless!

I think you will have on red stilletos.

We had a thread on this a while back. I go to High Plains Western Wear in Kennesaw (or any western wear store, really) and buy Wranglers. 100% cotton. I have never liked the stretchy jeans.
