You might want to PM LPPT. She went through something similar last year from a tick bite. Turns out she had rocky mountain spotted fever (I think that was it). She kept telling the dr she thought she had it and they told her it wasn't in Georgia--just out west. She finally demanded they test her for it....and she was right! Don't know how old you are, but as I have gotten older, I am a whole lot more proactive and demanding about my health. I left my ob-gyn of ten years this summer because he wasn't listening to me. I like the guy. He's been good but he's been trained by the pharm

Woot! Yea, I finally got someone to text me back. Those boys needed this.
-
Yea I know! I've texted three people who are there. But two are on the sideline working and the third just texted me back and said she's NOT there because her son is injured and not playing. I'll keep trying.

I'll try texting MillCreek, but she is working the sideline (taking pics) so it will be halftime before she can answer. Anyone?

Isn't there a four way stop already there? Hard to imagine how you get in an accident more serious than a fender bender at a 4 way stop unless somebody didn't stop at all.

Had a Mastiff that went through a three week chewing thing: the staircase the windowsill dug a hole in the carpet then he stopped and started eating stuffed animals from the kids room. Ended up having three abdominal surgeries to unplug his intestines. Vet said he was gonna add a wing and name it Harley Hall.

Wouldn't matter how often I went.....NOTHING is mandatory except payment. The ob-gyn I used for my first pregnancy was arrogant, rude and full of himself. He got mad because I wanted to have natural childbirth and not use an epidural. He commented about how fat I was getting at every visit (I gained 28 lbs the entire pregnancy). I was young and intimidated, but after him, I decided I was calling the shots. I since that time, walk in and let the dr know my expectations. I can usually size them up in one or two visits and I don't stay with one who doesn't respect my right to be "in char

Been there Laurie. Makes my heart hurt, but I know you will shower her with love in the weeks ahead. I know she has had the best life with you. Keep her comfy and feed her steak.

So I combined a few trips? It all happened....just not on the same trip? You got nerves of steel anyhow.

Yea...but you will go out camping with a dozen kids in the wilderness.....in a blizzard! That takes ------over never mind---------I just proved your point. No Common Sense

I know lots of people who are street smart and have degrees. The difference? Maybe they don't feel the need to paste all their degrees on their foreheads like a badge. I couldn't get certified in my profession without a degree....otherwise I might not have bothered. I have pretty much insisted my kids get degrees though. The world is a different place than when I graduated many moons ago. And, well, all I can say about my kids...especially my son.....ever heard Hank Williams Jr's song "A Country Boy Can Survive"? That's him. Not a whole lot he can't build, fix or do for himself.

walking sandals...you know, with the molded footbed? I walk 3-4 miles every evening in sandals. HATE tennis shoes!

Are you taking any medications? Check the side effects for anything you take. Drug companies tend to trivialize the side effects of meds, even things like birth control pills and allergy meds. Diet and blood sugar levels can affect brain function too. I always try to figure out what's going on that way before going to the dr. My first thoughts were hormonal imbalance, but at 23, you should not be having that problem. Good luck!

This would totally depend on your personal situation. First I would figure out how much I would be saving per month. Then you need to be realistic about how often you go to the doctor, how many drugs you take, etc. My personal peference is to have less expensive premiums and higher deductible, but I take no drugs and tend to want to figure out a "non-drug" approach to my healthcare. Also, many "alternative" options aren't covered on insurance anyway. Finally, are you and your daughter healthy? No chronic conditions? If so, you may be ahead with the private coverage. On the other

In my defense, I didn't hear the first beep PV! I promise. I haven't decided if I'm hard of hearing....or just not paying attention. It's like I'm on autopilot--get the phone, get the purse, get the papers, check, check, check....then 10 feet away from the car, I realize I didn't hear a beep. Did I hit the lock or not? And it's probably gonna get worse with age. Just pat me on the head when I walk by. K?

They don't bother me. They do make me think about life, death and how fragile we all really are. I wouldn't care if they are crosses, crescents, Star of David. People grieve in there own way. From someone who has lost a daughter, some of the memorials are for friends, not necessarily family. But that is okay. And as to it being on public property.....it's not somebody else's property..... it belongs to all of us. If I had a vote, I would say let people put up memorials, free of charge. Not necessarily a right, but a courtesy from the public domain. Then when the state or cou

Dagmar is very attractive....but her voice reminds me of the Romper Room lady. Most of you won't remember the Romper Room lady, as it was a show that was on back in the '60's, but it does start to irritate me after about 30 seconds.

I second Mike King on the computers. Reasonable, courteous and good! Phones? We have all that with A T & T, but I don't know details. -
We had mood rings and pet rocks.

Yes, I mentioned that everyone was wearing a seatbelt. I had received that info in an email the day after the accident from a VERY reliable source. ......can't trust anyone these days. I do apologize since it appears to be inaccurate. Either way, a tradegy all the way around.
