The report said 278 at 120/Buchannan Hwy. The company I use is based in Cedartown and we're the tail end of the route out here. (I know the owner/driver) The company I was thinking does not have a covered truck. Still praying for the driver.

Which company was this? I'm curious because I live near here and my company picked up in the half hour or so before the accident. I know my driver, so I'm hoping it's not them. I'm praying everyone's ok.

This site is highly entertaining when I'm restless and bored (like today) but I completely agree that its become necessary to put on my thick skin when I decide to post on any topic. For that reason, I usually only post when I'm in a mood and may respond if provoked. Again, entertainment for me, but I admit, sometimes hurts my feelings a little.

Bless your heart!! So glad your house is okay. I've heard personal stories of those who didn't fare so well. How nice of you to help them out! Some of the people around here are just inspiring. My best friend goes from Marietta to Norcross and she leaves before 6:30am or she does not make it. (This is Sprayberry high school area. A heck of a lot closer then us up here in paulding!) Remember, that during traffic time, getting to an interstate may take an hour in itself. If it were me, I'd be on the road by 6:30am the first week, especially. And good luck with your job!

I was in elementary and this is how I was introduced, but I remember watching it on Nick (back when Alanis Morrisette was in "You Can't Do That On Television"). My first concert was The Monkees at Hershey Park when I was eight. The 25th Anniversary Tour. I STILL have the program (I remember I spent $5.00 on it) and we had nosebleed seats, but I loved every second of it. I wish I had my old cassettes. I once had just about every single album they did. I hear $10 an hour per child. (In my neighborhood) That's $30 an hour for my house and WHY we NEVER hire babysitters. There's no way I'm paying some teenager more then I make so I can have a night off. That's what Grandma's for! (and she's free!) I WISH there was someone for $25 for a FIVE hour day!! I gave away a lot of the baby stuff we had, but I think we still have blankets. I'll sort through what we have left and look for baby blankets. I can help with food, maybe next week? This week, funds are super tight. My van died and needs an expensive repair (engine rebuild). I HATE that! I usually try to wear thick socks until the shoes are worn in and then go back to thin socks/hose. It also seems to help keep the band aids on with the thicker socks.. Oh, and try getting the circular band aids. Feel better soon!

This happened to my husband twice and both times, we went through the department of labor. One situation was over quickly and check was in our hands within 2 months. The other company was headquartered out of state.
