Which Restaurants Deliver to Hiram (30141)?
Magic Mommy replied to RebekahRoseHills's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Great! I can do Italian and tonight, we're smoking a Boston Butt for pulled pork tomorrow night. I'll do some cooking tonight and tomorrow and will find a way to get it to you. You can stick it in the freezer and just reheat. And I promise I won't forget the goodies! Send me your phone number in a private message and we'll make the plans. -
He saved us the $$ with the full confession and guilty plea, then saved us the expense of paying for his life sentence. At least justice was served for the Riveria's before he took the coward's way out. Filter's back on....Prayers for both families.

Who has flown the airline coming to ATL?
Magic Mommy replied to Myprayers77's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Love Southwest so much, I've owned stock in them since 2001. I also have driven to B'ham to take Southwest. If you do have to stop in Houston, Hobby is a tiny little airport, easily navigated with a 2 year old. Bush is bigger, but still much smaller and easier then Hartsfield. -

Congrats on your babies! And kudos to your 13 year old for being supportive! How about some of us cooking for her? Its not that much trouble to add a few ingredients and stretch out two more portions. What kind of food do you like...no, what are you craving? And do you need any books or anything to help pass the time on bedrest? Congrats again! -
Thank you all for your prayers

Ryan Brunn pleads guilty to killing Jorelys Rivera
Magic Mommy replied to michelay1000's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That's me. My oldest is 9 and NONE of mine go outside, even in the backyard (with it's 6ft, padlocked, chainlink fence) without an adult AT ALL TIMES. On the public potty, big boy either goes in girl's room with me and little ones or he can pee his pants. Haven't had much of an argument out of that one, and never had an accident. And I don't even go to the bathroom in Walmart. No, you're not crazy. You're a great mom. That's such a rare thing, I just have to tell you again. YOU'RE A GREAT MOM!! There is no explination. He's sick. I still pray for the Rivera family. -
I remembered that post and sent my mom there to get my son his first camera for his birthday last month. She agreed the service (and the price) were above par. I completely agree. Too many times, we ALL complain. It's nice to call someone out for doing their job and doing it well. It's the little things that win AND KEEP my business. I won't make you rich, but a whole bunch of people like me will. I've heard so much about this place that it's a must in the near future. I'll hit up The Warehouse while I'm there.

That's a very good point, there. I'm one who tends to give, and mainly because of how much I have been helped by the well timed kindness of strangers. I've never actually begged, but I have been offered and I have humbly accepted. I also spend a great deal of time paying it forward in whatever ways are within my means. However, having read about this specific person, I am aware that if I were approached, then it will most likely be less of a "need" situation. In fact, to be honest, one of the reasons I give out cash less frequently is because of this particular person.

I am so the type of person who will go out of my way to support superior customer service! Mojo, thank you for sharing your story with us. I've heard nothing but nice things about Quality Service and Tire. My husband's got an '85 Firebird he's fixing up. All it needs now is a starter, a fuel injector, and four new tires...guess where we'll be going? And I agree on BOTH locations of chick fil a. Excellent service at both places and our choice for "fast food". I have a new one I should of thought of earlier. I have some pet turtles and I found the aquarium/pet store on Hwy 92 bet

People, myself included, tend to post their gripes with local businesses. I thought it would be nice if we could share some of the good customer service stories out there. I've got two for now and just to make sure I don't get edited or removed (AGAIN), I'm trying not to be specific. 1. The Dodge dealership on Dallas Hwy has taken extremely good care of my 10 year old van even though I did not buy it there. Last spring, when my husband lost his job, he also lost the van keys. This was not his first time losing them and this time it was the set with the automatic lock things, which are

See, I didn't read that post as a joke, I read it as a geniune prayer of support to the OP. When I read YOUR posts (on any given topic), I'm struck by your desperation to display your profound ignorance. The OP asked for prayers, not for people to spout their athesit opinions and attack people for their beliefs.

Bless your heart, you've had quite a few months, haven't you? Praying for you right now....Then sending PM with job lead.

Whether or not there was a drugbust on Winndale over the weekend? I would like to know the address of the bust and the day/time. My 'hood is very close and there were 3 Deputies with their lights off pulling over cars on Monday night inside my neighborhood. I couldn't figure out why they pulled over the other cars, but let others through. I was told by another neighbor that it was a drug bust and they were looking for people who ran. Thanks!

Middle school kid injured in EP bus accident
Magic Mommy replied to luvtennis5's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That's true, drivers can't give out details. I am NOT a driver and I DO have details that confirm this was no "accident". (Try "staged") There was an investigation this afternoon, so I'm sure Pubby can provide all the dirty details in a future post. Oh, and the young man involved? Walked out of Kennestone on his own, and I'm sure he'll be grounded for life! -
Doing What Someone Else Expects You To Do
Magic Mommy replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is thought provoking for me. While I agree with your post's premise, I just don't have the right to be selfish. You ask, "Who are you acting for?" I am a stay at home mom. I am directly responsible for three children, two with special needs, and a husband that I don't wait on, but we are a team. Next question: "Is money the reason you live up to someone else's expectations...?" Actually, money is the very reason I haven't lived up to someone's expectations considering my education and work history and the fact that I walked away from all of to be a GASP! mom! When I could hav -
Absolutely praying for her, her family, your husband, and you. I was once told by a doctor (in regards to my son) that his condition was beyond medicine. My exact words to the doctor were "It's not beyond God." That was years before my faith was even seeded, but it did start me down that road. His "Miracle" healing three years later was baffling to medical science, but not to me. Prayers of healing, strength, and love.

Hey! I found one that worked, but i can't figure out how to post the pic. It was "facedouble" (google it as one word) I used my FB profile pic, taken late December, and it matched me with Ali Larter. I'll take that! But it did give the option to "pick someone" if I didn't like the result. In high school, My friend Tara swears I looked like Jennie Garth. I don't see that one, either.

I have been trying since yesterday to get any of the sites that pop up when I google "celebrity look alike generator" to register any of my photos, but every single one of the sites I tried rejected every photo I submitted. It won't even let me go through facebook to log in, so that tells me something's wrong. The last time I did one of these was after the youngest was born four years ago and it said I looked like Ronaldo, the male soccer player. (I can laugh now but back then, it kind of hurt). Too bad! I was hoping I'd at least match a female now that I've lost weight and gotten a ha

I sat through about 90 seconds of the first video and moved on to better uses of my time. I reserved judgement on whether or not it was her, or someone looking for attention/money. But after reading this article, I guess it was real. My link

I already called my mom and warned her it went up, but still worth detouring up 41 to 92 to get fill up on the way home! (She gets off at 1, so fingers crossed!) Hopefully, these businesses will see the extra customers and keep their prices LOW!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that gas is still cheap over in Acworth. Hubby scored on the $2.99 a gallon gas on Hwy 41 in Acworth on his way home last night. He said that between Mars Hill Road and Highway 92 on both sides of the road, every station was $2.99. Fox 5 just said the avg. Atlanta price is $3.36. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Thank you to the people who first posted about it, I tried to search for that thread but couldn't find it. I may have had the wrong title or something. Have a great day!

I sincerly apologize, I just wanted to be clear that several people tried to promote The Felix Family Lights, and I guess I was. Still, a reminder to vote this evening was needed and hopefully everyone will remember to GO! VOTE! -

It's a generous and amazing act of kindness to go to the trouble and expense that you did for our children. I'm sorry it's not "newsworthy" to do something selfless for your community schools. So, from a humble mom, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! -

Ummm. Scroll down the "recent activity page" and you'll see the thread with 93 responses by a community that has been ACTIVELY and aggressively trying to rally the local media, the local school system, heck, the locals period. But PCommers have come out in force to vote for our schools. Mr. Felix, thank you for trying, good luck tonight, and I hope the miracle comes through. If not, please try next year and we'll hit the media early and hard.
