Alas, the enemy will lie and say "You should have done XYZ.... why didn't you do ABC" etc etc etc, ad nauseum. Bottom line is: We all have free will. He chose the path to destruction and dismissed the opportunities (that I'm sure where always presented to him in love) to change direction. (( hugs ))

Help! We are buying a new vehicle and need some advice
ChocoMare replied to raclay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you're buying slightly/gently used, I cannot recommend CarMax enough. No mystery fees, no haggling, no hard sell. That was the easiest vehicle purchase we've ever done. -

Awwww, sweetie. Not all are like this, truly. My late M-I-L was a gem and I miss her dearly. She faded away into dementia but I thank God that one of the last Lucid Moments she had was with me: She looked at me, knew me and said "I'm glad you married my David. You're good for him." I hugged her, cried and thanked her for raising such a Godly man for me to marry.

Pot meet Kettle. IF future d-i-l did behave this way, then shame on her... HOWEVER, future m-i-l was just as rude to do her scolding via E-mail. Puhleeze... can you say Passive/Aggressive? I knew you could. MIL-dearest should have either let it go OR just spoken/vented privately to the son. Alas, basic manners & unselfish-respect for others is a dying art.

Horse & Rider access to parks (like White Oak) and plans for new parks that include multi-use/shared trails. Yes, people will pay a Per Day fee to haul in and ride. Douglas, Cobb & Carroll Counties all recognize that Equestrians mean income and have broadened their existing & planned parks to include horses. Cracker Barrel Restaurant... dear God, please.

Quote from Greystone's Facebook update: Found out the cause of last nights outage in Dallas. It was a snake! He apparantly had his eyes set on a birds nest. Crews found the burnt remains on the frame. Mystery solved.

On the flip side, my husband and I always make a marked point of going up to couples with Well-Behaved children and thanking them for said well-behaved children... tell 'em "Keep up the good work."

Maybe we should handle 'em this way? from: NotAlwaysRight.com (A father is letting five kids make a complete mess of the restaurant. They're ripping napkins and using it as confetti, breaking chopsticks and screaming their little heads off.) Me: "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to tell them to stop doing that. They are disturbing the other customers." Father: *beaming* "No." Me: "No, as in, no you won't tell them to stop it?" Father: *still beaming*"Yes." (I have to get back to work at this point and sure enough, the kids keep misbehaving. Several customers com

And then there's the young lady who eats chalk. White, pink, purple, yellow... all colors, lengths and thickness of chalk. Buckets of it. She's on the couch talking to her boyfriend and SNAP bites off a piece and chows down. He freaked.

This: see below from www.notalwaysright.com (A little girl walks up to me and my coworker. She is crying.) Me: "Oh, honey. What's wrong?" Girl: "I can't find my mom." Me: "Well, I can page over the speaker for her. What's her name?" (She gives me the name. My coworker gets a description of her mother as I page. When it's a lost child, all we say is 'We have something of yours' for safety reasons. This is to make sure the child does go with their actual parent.) Girl: "I think she left." Coworker: "No, she didn't. She's probably looking for you." Girl: "She said
