  1. And yet, it is possible to "Tell the truth in love." When one pauses for a moment to choose their words carefully (whether spoken or written), hard truths can be shared in a kind, gentle yet firm way where the point is made and doesn't cause undue or unnecessary offense.
  2. Put me in the minority here: I can't stand the twit. I find him SOOOOOO annoying
  3. STAY off Whitlock from John Ward Road all the way to the Square. The hill thru Cheatham Hill Park is still 3 inches thick with ice.
  4. Go directly to The Sleep Number Store - do not pass Go, do not collect $200. The Select Comfort Bed is the BEST money we've ever spent. Hubby has a long and not-so-glorious history of lower back issues. GONE since we switched from a water bed to the S.C. Worth every single penny and then some.
  5. ADORE La Cocina.... have never had a bad meal there. Great service, reasonable prices and awesome food. LOVE the fresh fish tacos, the Steak Ala Tampinquena. Saw the "Huey Luey's" and went "Huh?!"....drove right on by.
  6. Ditto to Temporary Assignment's Post. BUT best of all: The Lord is everywhere at all times. So cool that He is Omnipresent! Pray right where you are, whenever you want!!! Afterall, the building is just that.... a building. The Church is HIS people...a living, breathing, moving entity.
  7. Understandable... but if the company has over 100 employees, a Point of Service (or in Kaiser's terms "Multi-Choice") plan option must be offered (it's law). So if the employee is dedicated to their physician and can't bear to leave him/her for even one year, then they can pay a bit more towards the premium and upgrade to the POS plan. Most docs in the greater metro-Atlanta area will accept Kaiser's Multi-Choice plan.
  8. Ahyup... thank you Obamacare. Our company was being hit with a 40% increase. Unacceptable.... we couldn't afford to absorb that type of increase NOR would we pass it all onto the employees. Soooooo, we shopped and shopped and shopped. Wound up with Kaiser because it only meant increasing employee contributions by a few bucks. Is it the greatest? No. Is it acceptable? Most definitely. --Always better than no coverage at all.
  9. I LIKE it!!! --I'll ditto the "disruptive, bratty, misbehaving" wee humans in restaurants. You wanna take your kids out to enjoy a family meal out of the house? Fine. BUT by golly, teach said wee humans to SIT quietly, eat their meal, say "please" and "thank you." To allow them to run around is not only FAILURE to teach manners but puts your child, other diners and the wait staff in danger. One server carrying one tray of four or more meals CANNOT see wee human below said tray.... the resulting crash could prove painful for all parties involved. --Another ditto the 45 mph-er or
  10. Droopy drawers... Puhleeze... You're no "gangsta" and even if you were, you'd STILL look like an idiot with a load in their pants. Have some self respect and pull the pants up, use a belt if they're too big and keep your groceries to yourself!
