I'm with you on the FB thing... It's been such a blessing to reconnect with people I thought I'd never see again this side of heaven. I am currently searching for my daughter that I surrendered for adoption 22 years ago. Lord willing, I'll find her on Facebook

Thanks for the menu! We will be back!

For me, it's my best friend. 17 years addiction to crack. She'd been doing better, had been living with us under a strict, written contract that she was honoring. We planned a trip to Florida to see my parents (who she had been wanting to meet) and Disney World. The Friday before we were to leave, she went out and used... stayed out too. Blew through hundreds of dollars worth of crack in 4 days. I do love her, but have made it clear: you're outta our home and until she gets/stays clean (whether it be long-term rehab or jail -- I'd prefer jail right now), we will have limited contact

Need advice on dealing with adult non-allergic asthma please
ChocoMare replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Get him OFF that Primitine (throw it away) and make an appointment now for a Pulmonologist. He has to be tested to determine the extent of his asthma and prescribed the PROPER medication to control it. I'm the same as your husband, in that cold weather & exertion trigger an attack. I will pre-inhale Pirbuterol before I go out in the cold to work with my horses or do chores and then have my Albuterol inhaler in my pocket at all times in case I feel my chest tighten. I also have a nebulizer machine at home, with pre-filled albuterol tubes for at-home breathing treatments. He also -
Meh, no big deal to me. I would NEVER EVER use the USPS for overnight or even 2-day delivery because you have no REAL tracking info. Give me Big Brown UPS anyday. I can track it, city by city, and know when my package will arrive at its destination.

Totally agree myrlin... but I want to see this place stick around and really draw the folks in. While the chicken is THE REAL DEAL (and uber good), I don't want to throw away a plate of fries, slaw & bread if I choose to buy the "plate."

Their chicken fingers ARE better and bigger than Zaxby's. Reasonably priced. Nice place. However, if they're reading this thread: Upgrade your fries and make 'em something special. Cut back on the dressing-to-cabbage ratio in the slaw. Waaaay too soupy. Lastly, either skip the texas toast or make it special too.... maybe real garlic bread, toasted crispy. Other than that, we loved it.

We tried it too, a few years ago. Alas, that the was the year the Pine Post Beetles invaded. The critters ate our tree from the inside and it snapped at ground level.

I think the guys at Lawson's Feed-N-Seed are their No. 1 customers already. The kid who loaded my car had eaten 4 meals there in 1 1/2 days Gotta try it out!

Covered bridge is on the blue trail at Boundary Waters Park - I ride there regularly and it is lovely!

You may remember this dish from Piccadilly... yup, I snagged it off the "Secret" Recipes site CARROTT SOUFFLE’ 1 3/4 pounds peeled carrots, finely grated 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (DO NOT USE “self-rising”) 3 eggs, well-beaten with electric mixer 1 stick butter at room temperature powdered sugar 1. Steam or boil carrots until soft but not mushy. Drain well and transfer to a large mixing bowl. While carrots are still warm, add sugar, baking powd

Yeah, I do have an amazing chiro (Dr. Krantz in Marietta) but again, I wake up with it, and once it's full-blown, almost nothing except narcotics stops it.

I'll have to give it a try. I have two versions of migraine: one visual, with flashing prismatic light, etc. and then the headache hits. Those I don't mind, actually, because as soon as the visual stuff starts, I can take 2 Excedrin Migraine with a Coke and stop it. The 2nd version is the worst: I wake up with it... pain runs from the back left of my neck around thru to the left eyeball & temple, sick to my stomach, etc.. I'm guaranteed 2 days of headache misery and take so many pills I wind up sick. I have yet to have a prescription anything that stops them. Off to the herb

1. Purchase a CD of bagpipe music. 2. Open the windows of your home that face his property. 3. Install large stereo speakers in said windows, facing outward. 4. Insert CD, press play and CRANK UP the volume. Do this when he's not running the bike so he can hear.

The "chicken people" who have their 20+ flock of assorted breeds o'chickens at the farm where I keep my horses have since Netted the pen to prevent the hawks from bellying up to the buffet, as well as putting a strand of barbed wire at the base of the fence to keep out the possums. Since then, no more chicken fricasse. Free-range cannot be done without significant losses.

Yup, sounds like possum

It's the only time to shop. I don't have kids, so enjoy the quiet of the store at that hour... No whining, shrieking, begging wee ones.

From an HR/Payroll Manager: Overtime is only calculated AFTER 40 actual hours worked. Vacation, PTO, holiday, etc. are not "worked hours" and, therefore, do not factor into the calculation towards that magical number of 40.

FYI, 2 sections of BW trails are closed for the next six months. Believe it or not, they're paving the trails! GRRRRR

I enjoy JCP too. Nice to have a stand-alone store near us instead of having to schlep to the mall.... HATE malls.
