Big dittos to the others: they won't stop/change until they truly want to. Some never do and die in their addiction. It's a sad fact. Jail is NOT a bad thing either and, for some, their saving grace. Key thing for any friend or family member is to LET THE ADDICT SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES of their choices. Do not give them money, do not take them anywhere to get drugs.. basically do not enable their behavior. Love them, yes, but within boundaries that keep you and the rest of your family safe. You love them enough to let them fall. A fab program for men: http://www.nolongerbound.com/

For forms, etc. I still use my trusty IBM Selectric II. LOVE the touch on that keyboard!!! God Bless the retired IMB gentleman who operates House O'Typewriters in Marietta. Without his place, I'd be out of luck for ribbons and correction tape -
Adamson Roofing: http://adamsonroofingcompany.com/ I dealt directly with the owner. One day and I had a brand new roof, not a speck of debris left in my hard and they even re-attached a gutter and downspout that was hanging off - free of charge

Ah, thanks for the correction

If it's the farm I'm thinking of, they closed because it was illegally representing itself as a 501©3 Not For Profit organization. No 501©3 paperwork was ever submitted to the IRS and GuideStar has no information on them.

Nope, they shouldn't. But I sit on the Board of Directors for Sunkissed Acres Rescue & Retirement (www.sunkissedacres.com). I've worked with the owner, Lori, for 6 years and can tell you over and over and over again of horse after horse after horse that SHE has been called on to take because DOA can't or won't. All it takes for evil to continue is for good people to sit by and do nothing. So if you're local to this horse, DO something. It takes eyewitness reports and documentation to get something done... not 4th person hearsay off the internet. For all others, write to Mr. Bl

Alas, Dept of Ag is grossly understaffed and it's hard to get them to do their job. HOWEVER, hard doesn't mean impossible. It means doing due diligence: take pictures every day and at assorted times to prove that the land doesn't meet minimum requirements for LIVESTOCK (yes, horses are deemed livestock in GA... this is not a bad thing), that there is no/poor water and no hay provided, if that's the case. Then call, call, call, call. Yes indeed: the squeeky (or annoying) wheel will get the grease. Some will say: "But I'm doing THEIR job." Yup, you are. But it's only because there j

FAB company to deal with: http://adamsonroofingcompany.com/ After hail damage, got 3 quotes. Adamson was the middle BUT had the best references, best website, most professional people to deal with (Les Adamson, the owner, came out to do our estimate.. not some flunky). 1 Day, 4 Workers and our whole roof was replaced. They even fixed a gutter that had been ripped off the eaves...free of charge. Will recommend them to anyone.

Ya'll have missed a great one: Quality Chef in the Food Lion shopping center -- Hwy 61 / Hiram-Sudie Rd intersection. Nothing fancy.. true take-out, but you could sit/stay/eat if you want. Everything is fresh, made to order. Fab eggrolls, dumplins and spareribs. Awesome Sesame Chicken. Hubby adores anything that's got spicey kick.

Another Elrod's fan here. They are the quinessential home-town place... I can get whatever I want, at reasonable prices, with awesome service AND I don't have to maneuver around 100's of people to do it....unlike HD-blech. I can also get some of my horse supplies there too.... gonna suggest they offer more! -
Eegads... these horses were all placed within a week.. Meanwhile, Sunkissed Acres, Save the Horses and Georgia Equestrian Rescue League can't give 'em away. Every equine rescue in the state is full and no one is adopting.

FAB Praise Band and singing team. 9:30 for breakfast 9:45 Sunday School/Bible Study 10:45 Corporate Worship AWANA for the kids at 4:30p ALSO, open to all ladies.... I head up the Ladie's Bible Study every Monday evening at 6:30p. We're finishing up Jonah-A Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer right no

Had been to the original OT on Thornton Rd many moons ago, so was THRILLED to see their new location in Hiram. Hubby and I went Saturday evening and it was WONDERFUL!!! Best Chicken Francese I've had since I left NY!!! Reasonable prices, plenty of food and great service. Will be back repeatedly I can tell you that! -
I won't buy my meat anywhere else. Very good quality Angus Beef, as well as FAB pork -- all priced right and you get personal service: anything cut or ground anyway you want it. Have NEVER had a bad piece of meat. Love the BBQ Dry Rub they sell... soooo good!
