Chrissey - I don't know why anyone would want to try to text and drive... but you are correct most police depts have to rely on computers for everything, to run tags, etc... it use to be by radio, but most departments are paperless now, computers do a lot of the work.... if you see them on the road doing this it is with their job, is it right? who knows, but they have to use their computers in their cars... in most departments they can't radio in a tag to be run, they have to do it on their computer..... they do take driving courses, is it right? is it fair? I would much rather see a police on

So which is right? 2 things that give the money different ways one gives way more to parks and rec. the is other is more a balance, where can we go to see what it really means? We can live without parks but not police, will not vote for more parks in the economic time.

Treaure - I can respect your frustration... while I agree bike riders have their rights...if they are going to use the roadway for transportation, should they have to have insurance and a tag? I respect them while driving, but a lot of them do not respect drivers or the roadway.... What if one losses control and runs into your car and causes and accident? Who is to pay? They have no insurance, but you do?

Pubby - refresh my memory, the SPLOST tax is a sales tax that we already have is it not? It is not a new tax, or one that will go on property taxes, its just an additional sales tax in our 7% that we have already that needs to be renenwed.. If you buy anything in Paulding County it is included in the sales tax we have that is 7%, it would not raise it in any amount, it would just stay the same... We already have it and they just want to renew it......a sales tax we have had for years? I think this is confusing to some, no new taxes, no addition to property taxes, just a renewal to a sales tax

Surepip - I have to agree, got our first ripe one a few weeks ago, I got one bite, and my grandson got the rest - that is what you call love.

i have an Lg front loader, it takes a while to get use to it, but it does a great job... I wash and wipe down the seal, leave it open while the clothes dry, never had a problem so far. They take an adjustment to get use to their wash, but they do a great job.

lowrider - you might want to try contacts, multifocus, it beats glasses... they work great.. I can see far and close with them... i hate glasses.

Praise Thee - great video... Memorial Day may have been to honor our fallen troups, but I feel Memorial Day should be a day to honor all of our troops, some fell during battle, and some survivied.. I feel like all that honor the uniform should be thanked on this day. My father in law(rest in peace) was on the beach in Normany, he survived and made it home, but I will honor him for his service. Prayers for this familly... this home went to a well deserving family, the Dad was an inspiration to all, and the wife who is such a wonderful, hopeful person... they deserve the best. I hope they enjoy the home for years to come... It seems like they are an inspiration to all.

The oil situation is a day by day thing, depending on if they get it capped, and what the gulf currents and the wind does... We just got back from the beach and it was beautiful........ when we left, the water felt a little oily, or it just could have been the sunscreen... there were some black spots on the beach, and some small metal pieces were washing up on the beach, strange things.... never had seen them before.... we also saw some sea turtles and a school of stingrays.... the beach was fine at this point..... you just have to keep up with the currents, wind and weather, good luck....

Guard Dad- I have to agree, we built our house and with the help of our brother in law(may he rest in peace) our field line is long and deep, we put in gravel, newspaper, and he said we should never have a problem. I don't have to go to the new airport to see an airshow, I see one most everyday... we live close to Calvin Thompson, we have watched his planes/helicopters come in and out daily.... on treetop level. he has his own airfield.. will this change for the opening of the great airport? Or will he still use his own airfield? Curious since he is the main head for the airport?
