My sister in law works on an Army base in Alabama, and the sad thing is that most enlisted are living within poverty level.... They give them help all the time.... This is a sad thing for the people that are serving to protect our country.

I have it now.. if it is not better next week I will go to New Hope Urgent care, I have been there several times and they cured what ailed me.... You probabaly need some antobotics. surepip - this was a long time coming, and I am glad you kept up the fight... maybe the Jerry Sheridan reign has finally fallen..... you deserve the best, you have fought hard for your rights, which you deserve. -
Thanks to all of you. Again, none of us could do this without a word of thanks or encouragement every once in a while. While others are working to promote their own family's financial future and chose NOT to serve or CANNOT, some people are stepping up to serve and help others' children as well as our community. I am with my children today unexpectedly also and I am going to appreciate every minute of it before they are adults. THAT is why I chose to be a parent. That should always come before $$$$$. God blessed me with them and He will provide for us. I for one was glad of your p

We have suscribed to the paper for years and years, I do think their problem has to do with the internet, do people read things anymore, papers/books? My hubby has always like the paper, so we still get it... I don't think it is their views but the lack of subscriptions while all have gone to the internet. -
I don't have a pic, but my father in law landed in Normany.... and I have a son in law that has served in Iraq and Afghanistan and I honor them both.

For those up set with the last vote
cherokeewoman replied to deerman's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I took the early voting route, and voted at Mt Tabor, I was in and out at 10 minutes... people need to pay more attention to these early voting places.... you have this right - they go for a week before the elections, if you take adavantage of it or not is also your right.... Each election you are offered early voting rights, you just need to take advantage... -

So please expand what will this be about? -
I guess the question is how much government control do we want over our lives, how much should they dictate on what we should and should not do... we all know things are bad for us, but none of us are perfect... should we decide or should the government..... tobacco, drinks, fast foods. What will be next sugar, coffee, how about beef/pork/chicken/ or what about butter? eggs.... I do not want any government control over my life, it is after all my life, I pay taxes and do the best I can... I am a citizen of the USA and I do not want the government to decide what I can eat/drink/ or do.... why s

Sorry, but Paula Deen's is not tradational dressing, made with bread? No... Tradational dressing is made with cornbread, biscuits, less biscuits than cornbread, cream of chicken soup, onions, celery, my Mom always cooked a hen for broth, and added canned if needed, mix it up until almost soupy... a touch of sage, eggs, we neve liked a lot of sage, bake in a pan like you would do cornbread... to me that is traditional dressing, before my Mom passed she made it at my house one year, after she passed I have carried on her tradition.. my family has had no complaints... I feel with a prayer every

We have a heat pump and i love it, I do not like the dry heat from the gas.... it takes a little time to get use to it, but I have never had any complaints, even the winters when it was very cold and the heat stips kicked in, it was not bad, bill wise. When we moved here we had a choice of propane or all electric, I gladly took all electric, our bills have not been bad. Just had to have a new system put in so it should be more energy effecient.

This is a sad situation, don't know the facts, do know Marty was caught in the clenches at one point, I believe that is when he went to be principal at Matthew's, and he did a great job with that... would like to know all the fact before judgement was passed, I do not truste the BOE, they have never shown me anything.... this is a good ole boy county..

Palm tree rocks, have to agree, Monds might be a good man, but not enough followers to be a landside, so all votes for him will probably mean a run off for barnes and deal.... will not vote for barnes..

Animal, thanks, I miss you too... thaknks for remembering me... you just have not come out of your cave too much..... We have had some good discussions and bashes over the years have we not? I have been on off and on.... what you want to argue about? Surely we can't be in agreement? -
Powder Springs Dad and Freebird, agree, we have always lived beyond our means, no new cars so no car notes.. It depends on people's priorities on life, to keep up with the latest things, or to have no bills...

former member - have to disagree, our insurance choices were short this year with a big county, and my kid's private inssurece went up over $50 dollars, and this is not an effect from Obama Care? I don't think so.. you were lucky your company kept good insruance, a lot of big unities have not... we got screwed this year on health care... so feel good you have what you have...
