I would like to know what this census has cost us? We get mail it is coming, the forms, then another please fill it out, then they have already hired workers for all areas..... so do they think we are stupid? how much is in the budget for the census?

Crime scene tape, medical examiners, and police in the area of Ivey Gulledge and Colbert Road.... late Friday afternoon, from what I have heard joggers found a person that was hung from a tree in a cul de sac in a undeveloped development? A lot of kids are looking in the medicine cabinet.... nowdays when you go to the doctor, it seems like you get some kind of paind meds.... they are taking them... maybe you filled it and did not take any, they take it.... they go to the grandparents cabinets... Now days more pain/ antidepressent, etc are being prescribed than ever before, kids are looking in thier parents medicine cabinets, they get stareted there then they buy... we a society of pain pills, anti depressents, etc....

Wow times are a changing, my kids did not get cells until they were driving... we could keep up with them... Now my grandson in kindergarden is saying I need a cell phone..... I don't think so.... We got along with out cells for years, I can't see young kids having them, if they are driving, yes.

Welcome home soldiers! We are so glad you are back safely and we mourn the loss of the ones who did not make it back. These fine soldiers had an escort most of the way home thanks to all Public Safety Officers and the Patroit Guard... My daughter said people were lined up on the road on 278, cars in the oppisite lane pulled over, there was a big welcome for these well deserving soldiers... a parade in Cedartown/Calhoun/ and other areas.... LGM - what a great job you are doing! If they got a call, I believe they should have at least knocked on the door, or checked the house... she made the 911 call herself from her house, so someone should have checked, even if they had to break a door down, there was a call.... if the fire dept did not want to do it they should have dispateched the police, and checked the house.... If someone makes a 911 call and says my house is on fire, they should do more than just drive by. This was an error on the fire department or higher up... what does it cost to check?
