How much do they charge for an oil change at the school? I paid about $35 last week and I really think that was high for regular oil. I'm looking for a new, cheaper place to have it done.

It's the same everywhere I've ever worked. There's always someone who is surfing the internet or chatting on the phone to their cousin (or doing both at the same time) while everyone else is slammed. It never occurs to them to pitch in and help out because "that's not their job" and if you ask them for help, they'll tell you that real quick.

Small claims court? I'm guessing that it would probably cost you more to hire an attorney than what you are owed on your check. Although even that might cost you more than your check amount. About how much are you owed from the daycare center?

I don't really think it matters what they label it as. They can call it a tanuki, a magnut or a raccoon dog, people that wear fur are still going to wear it and people that don't will steer clear of it. There are two new tanuki brothers at the zoo that debuted in August. They are adorable.

I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE Big Bang Theory!! It is my absolute favorite show on tv right now. I laugh my head off when I watch that show. I used to think it was so funny when Sheldon would get upset if someone sat in "his" spot on the sofa. But twice in the last two weeks, I've seen two grown men complain because someone was in their spot in at the conference table and they wanted "their" seat. What is it with men having to sit in the same spot all the time?

I've had it two different times. Once it was because of a medication that I was taking. I struggled with it for a couple of weeks but I had to stop taking it and ask for something different. I couldn't drive and couldn't get to work so that was reason enough for me to ask for a medication switch. If I can't get to work, I don't get paid and if I don't get paid, I can't afford the medication anyway. See if there is something else that you can take. There should be alternative meds that you can try.

From the AJC 7/31/12 - The rumors began circulating heavily about a month ago: 92.9/Dave FM was going sports talk. This morning, the rumors became truth. General manager Rick Caffey gathered the entire staff to inform them that in late September or early October, the rock station will become an FM sports talk station.

What are we supposed to listen to? Dave FM is closing up shop and becoming a sports channel or something to that effect. There won't be anything left soon. Thank God for XM radio!

We had an after hours event where I work earlier this month that most of the Atlanta housewives attended. Kim did not come and I didn't see Kandi but the others were there with their spouses. The two new housewives were there also. Bravo was there filming the entire thing and I am really wondering if the show and all of it's drama is scripted. They didn't act like they do on the edited television show. Everyone was very nice, well mannered and well behaved.
