I have been at my new job for 3 weeks. I love it. However, I have NEVER walked so much on hard floors in my life. SO... I want to treat my feet to an REALLY good pedicure. I am not interested in any fancing polish or designs. It's not open toe weather yet. What I am really looking for is a good foot spa treatment and foot and leg massage. I know you guys can give me suggestions. I REALLY want my feet scrubbed and rubbed.

Maybe they can trick or treat tomorrow since schools are closed so that maintenance can come in a pick up all the cigarette butts that have piled up in the car rider lane.

I know I said we usually don't do anything but yesterday I ran across something that I had to buy. At Christmas a couple of the younger kids got these little radio control helicopters. My hubby played with them more than the kids did. I knew when I saw one online that it would be the perfect gift.

I don't know what kind it is. It is in the same spot everyday. The first day I saw it we were both scared and took off running. The second day I was looking for it and took a picture. I will post it when I get home from work. By the third and fourth days it is like we are old friends and just acknowledge each other as I pass by. I am thankful for the lack of snow and ice since everyone in my house is onthe road to a different city each day for work and school. I do hope that we can get some cold weather. Being from the gulf coast I know that if the water stays warm all winter it is asking for disasterous hurricane weather this summer and fall. Also, I walk my dog through the woods everyday and the last 4 days we have seen the same snake sunning herself. It is way too early for her to be out and about!!

What a beautiful testimony to your dad. My biological father was killed in a car accident when I was just 4. I was lucky to be blessed with another "dad" to raise me, but I will forever be sad that I didn't have that father/daughter relationship that you had with your dad. I am sorry for your loss.
