I just had one done, but it was pretty simple. It took about 2 days of pain meds then I moved down to Ibuprofen. The relief was immediate though. I don't regret it for a minute. You should be prepared to help her out A LOT for a couple of days. Even with the simple things like using the restroom. When I had mine done I could have done both at once. I asked my husband,"If I get both of them are going to be alright with wiping my butt?" He said, "If I can't get it off with the waterhose first."

I love my Ninja. I have seen them on sale lately but I don't remember where. It is my food processor, blender, potato masher and margarita maker. -
Maybe Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

I am from Kentucky. That is sort or midway between the North and South. Maybe that is why I wrap everything except the one gift that Santa leaves unwrapped. The question that I have is: How many of the presents are Santa presents? Like I said, Santa always just brought the one most asked for gift to me and my kids. Everything else that I got was wrapped from my family. I know people who don't put presents under the tree until Christmas Eve. Then Santa brings them all.

This is not going to help the kids slim down. This is going to lower their self esteem and possibly cause them to eat more. I agree that our kids, as well as most adults including myself, need to lose weight. I just don't think it is the responsibility of the school systems to handle this.

That is an interesting combination. I will have to try a few of those just out of curiosity.

That is exactly the way I do it and the way I grew up with it being done. The weekend after Thanksgiving we would put up the tree. Wrapped presents from my parents would start to show up under the tree a few at a time as they were bought. I remember going in and checking everyday to see if there were more. I had to shake the boxes and try to figure out what was in them. Then on Christmas morning I would get up and run to the living room to see what Santa brought...his was always unwrapped. It gave me something to do while the rest of the family was getting up (it was usually about 4AM)

I always wrapped everything that is from me and dad. Santa would leave one thing out unwrapped and stuff the stocking with unwrapped goodies. Usually Santa brought the one "big" item. Everything else was from me and dad.

I have a friend that I would like to make fudge for but she does not like the creamy kind that I normally make. She is always talking about the kind her mother used to make and it is harder. Do any of you know what she could be talking about? I make my fudge with marshmallow cream so it is really creamy, but I like it that way. I usually make turtles but with the price of pecans being higher than gold I think I will limit who gets those. I love divinity, but have never been able to make a batch that worked. I don't know what is up with that. Keep the ideas coming.

I have wanted to try those cracker candies. I think I will. I love the Oreo Truffles too but it seems like everyone is making them.

My family's favorite, by far, is Ritz crackers with peanut butter dipped in chocolate. They probably have another name but I don't know what it is. I like to make several different things though so I am looking for good ideas. Whatcha got?

I have only got 2 so far and one was from Discover Card.

Count your blessing! I read the other day that this economy has caused people to stop retiring at their scheduled retirement age. People tend to be working until they are not able anymore. I think that is sad.

I interviewed for a phlebotomist position at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton yesterday. I feel like it went well. HR interviewed me and then asked if I had time to be interviewed by the Phlebotmy?Lab team. Of course I did! They were very nice and the interview ended with them giving me a tour of the lab and how everything works. I left feeling good, but I don't want to jinx things.

I can't stand to look at this couple. they really gross me out. Her parents are idiots, and I truly believe that she has some sort of mental deficit. I have never seen anyone who moves and acts the way that she does.

You know what I have discovered Gipper? You are the only person that sleeps as little as I do. We keep the conversations going while the rest of PCom sleeps. Back to the topic: I loved working in a barber shop and hearing all the stories of people's lives. You learn so much and laugh so much. Everyone becomes like family when they sit in your chair.

I am actually interviewing for the Carrollton Hospital. When the HR person called me I had to ask what I was interviewing for because I have applied for many positions. I will hold off on saying anything to my mother because it would just worry her and probably for no reason. If this position does not work for me at least I know there are more on the way. Sounds like the cardiology office is really growing.

I was a barber for many years. The first shop I worked in was a small town, old fashioned barber shop and boy we had some funny folks in and out. Most of them were farmers and such. There was one old man, Woodard Henderson, who would come into the shop every morning and have a cup of coffee and sit and talk to everyone. He was a very classy old guy. One would have sworn he was a retired doctor or something. One day he was talking to a man in my chair and they were laughing like best friends. Then Woodard said, "Do you know how I know this young man?" When I asked how he knew him he sa

My best friend, who is a food critic at heart, swears that Aldi's spiral sliced ham is the best there is. She does not shop there regularly but for the past few years she gets her hams there. Someone had one at a family dinner and it must have been good, because she would drive to Kennesaw to get one before Aldi's came to Douglasville.

My FB is completely private, even the pictures but I wouldn't care if they saw them. There's nothing inappropriate. They might assume I love my dog too much though. Most of the pictures are her. I'll make a mental note not to babble. and per 3dogs suggestion I will pee before the interview.

Thanks. I hope I make it to the 'need 3 of everything' stage. I do have a question for you though. Is it safe to assume that if I were to be given a position that the starting date would be after Christmas? I am supposed to go to my mother's house in Kentucky for Christmas. Of course I could change my plans but I didn't know if I should be preparing her. She will certainly be disappointed if I can't make it.

We bought the 2" faux wood blinds at Home Depot and installed them in our home when we moved here over 10 years ago. They are super easy to clean and look as good today as when we put them in. I thin $118. is a good price for installation if you are doing the whole house too. Although they are reasonably easy to install, I would have paid that much not to have my arms over my head for the time it takes to scre those screws in.

VERY true Animal!! Our schools are full of pregnant girls. I know of a couple in middle school but thankfully I have not heard of the elementary having this problem. The local high school that I worked at had over 20 at one time. I didn't count them, so I can't give an absolute number. I think it is ridiculous that middle school girls are dating. At that age they should still be kids. I also think it is ridiculous that the girls dress like hookers. OMG...the 4 inch heels, short short skirts, fishnet stockings and boobs all hanging out just sreams "take advantage of me". Most of thes

I am really glad I don't have girls. They would probably hate me. I don't think they need to be dating before they are 16. If I found out that either of my sons had been dating someone that age when they were 18 I would have blown my stack. That is an arrest waiting to happen. Having said that, there are some pretty stupid parents in the world. My nephew was 20 and dating a 16 year old ended up getting her pregnant. Her mom was so happy about it. Then I later found out that her mom had also got pregnant as a teenager, and her daughter and my ignorant nephew "planned" this pregnan

That is not a problem that I have. NO ONE is allowed to smoke in my house or car. Good suggestion though. When I was putting an application in at CHOA it says upfront that they are smoke free. I never wear perfume myself because I am sensitive to it. It tends to give me a headache. If I smell like anything it will probably be soap or powder. I will double check my fly before going in. That is also a good suggestion.
