  1. GMA has Jose Baez on as a "legal expert". I find that ridiculous. Anyone who watched the Casey Anthony trial knows that he is by no means an expert. He did not "win" the Casey Anthony trial because of his legal expertise.
  2. I don't think he was out of line at all. The judges can be very nasty and I am sure that he as well as the other professionals get sick of the judges judging on popularity. The difference is that Maks has the fan base and the balls to stand up and say something. The way he went about it may have been a bit rude but the reason he did it was understandable. Oh, and as far as his hotness factor, it will take a lot more then a few rude words to turn off his hotness!
  3. THe song says: Superior the honest one...Call 770-422-plumb
  4. Definitely start early. I have seen people out in freezing weather and even rain. Nothing stops a die hard yard saler!
  5. I have been watching this thread and was not sure if I should comment because I have not been forally diagnosed with TMJ. My doctor told me last time I was there that I have a "click" in my jaw that is a symptom of TMJ. I have terrible headaches from clinching my teeth. If I am alxious or even just thinking or working hard on something, I clinch. I don't normally realize it until the headache starts. She gave me muscle relaxers to take at night after days of clinching so that my muscles will relax during the night and have time to rest. It seems to be helping.
  6. So very sad. As a mother of two boys about his age, my heart goes out to his parents.
  7. I have heard it said many times that Bill Gates has Aspergers Syndrome, but after watching the interview about Steve Jobs he seems more likely than Bill to have had it. He had a brilliant yet simple and seemingly one track mind with an obvious lack of social skills. I'm no doctor so my diagnosis means jack, but my opinion is that he was not neuro-typical.
  8. IF you are an adult diagnosed with ADD/ADHD how did you know? What kind of treatments have you tried?
  9. I wish I had words to comfort you, but I don't know what to say. You truly are living my worst nightmare.
  10. WOW..that is some "friend". For someone who said she "wasn't Debbie bashing" she didn't have anything good to say. I just wish she had given more details about why she feels the way she does, then it might have been more believable.
  11. My son just left to go to McD's so I gave him a call. He just picked up food from the McDonald's at 61 and Scoggins. He said they were business as usual.
  12. Yummy yummy yummy I've got love in my tummy
  13. We can share a room in rehab. I thought my parenting skills were stellar when the boys were little...puberty changed my mind. Now they are "legally" adults and I have no idea where my sweet babies went.
  14. I have PTSD from watching his fat arse on TV in his diaper. Add that to my ADD and back issues and I should be getting a check. (why do I keep reading this thread? Adult baby my big toe.... He needs to be put up for adoption.)
  15. I was not superparent but if my kid started screaming we left the store. It probably would have looked like he was being abducted too. Come to think of it, I am surprised no one ever asked.
  16. If you can the neurologist would be your best bet. He has no interest other than your child.
  17. People do bitch about everything everyone does...don't you read PCom? It's no different for police officers than teachers, doctors, etc. Anyone who is seen as an authority figure should know that they are held to a higher standard of customer service.
  18. It is so easy to sit here now and say what they should have done. I know that it would take an act of congress to get my hubby to let me call an ambulance if he was sick. I would be driving...and driving fast. I am not an anti-policeman person. I have several law enforcers in my family. I am anti-abuse of power though. (disclaimer-I did not see the story or know anything about the policeman in question so I am not referring to him in particular.) What I have noticed is that many men who become police officers were the kids that were picked on when they were young and they worked their
  19. I saw the show with him on it and it made me MAD!! They need to treat him like a baby, whip his ass, tell him to grow up and get a job!
  20. You can absolutely ask the school to test him. Remember that they are working for a school system that is trying to pinch pennies though. I preferred to get my children independently evaluated by my own doctors. THat way I know his only agenda is to do what is best for the child. If your insurance will cover it I would say definitely go through a neurologist. I LOVE Child Neurology Associates. They are across from Scottish Rite. You don't have to tell me, I know it is private, but if your child is having dysgraphia it is usually accompanied by another diagnosis. (ADHD, Autism, etc) If
  21. Both my boys have dysgraphia. It is a co-morbidity of their Tourettes Syndrome. They were diagnosed by their neurologist. They are both in college now and their handwriting has improved enough that I can read it if I try hard. In middle and high school they had computer access to do all of their work. My oldest son was on a 504 plan and he was provided a laptop. My youngest son who had an IEP was just provided access to computers to do his work. He also had the school occup-ational therapist work with him every week on his handwriting. Once you have the diagnosis the school should not
  22. I agree. I do not want to condemn this woman without a lot more evidence than what I have seen so far. I here a lot of "She just seems guilty" and "I know she knows where that baby is." But I am not seeing evidence to support that. AS far as her getting an attorney, I think that is standard practice. All she has to do is watch TV or read boards like PCom and she knows that she is the prime suspect in the court of public opinion. I would feel like I needed an attorney if for no other reason than to make sure that I was doing everything possible to get the police to focus on finding my ba
  23. I am an oddball I guess. I love a white cake (usually a Mexican Vanilla) with butter cream icing.
  24. Puff the Magic Creme Puffs Bye Bye Miss American Apple Pie All you Need is Love - Wedding Cupcakes That's about all I can think of. Your ideas are great.
  25. DWTS is not a dance contest anymore. It is a platform to vote for the best personal story. If it were a dance contest Chaz would no longer be on there. I couldn't care less about who's zooming who outside the dance floor, but Chaz can't dance. Even the judges seem to be easier on Chaz than the other contestants. I don't get it. Carrie Ann cried when he danced. Anywho, I think JR Martinez is a consistantly good dancer and I hope he wins. If it were a contest on who you like best, I would have to vote for Carson though. I love him.
