Wow, at least they got it done in a timely manner. When we had our business address changed at work (on Google), I think it was a month or so...but thats a business.

I dont know, but some places are difficult. I'm a dispatcher for a courier company. I use Map Point, but often times addresses wont come up, because it doesnt have updated info. When a drivers GPS cant find an address, I look on Google and that still doesnt always work and these are restaurants. If they use old GPS units, they probably still wont be able to find it. I've found drivers that have newer ones have less problems. It may not do any good to update it, because if they use old GPS's, they still wont find it. I may be wrong, but I dont think the GPS's automatically update.

My FB friends are laughing at me for leaving work early because of a forecast of 1/2 inch of snow!!! They are in the North, where it snowed for days there last week. I do feel a little foolish, but I will admit, it is so nice to be home..and cozy too!

Probably. That is the only call I have gotten. They also said they had not planned to let them out early as of yet, but would keep us posted if anything changes.

Ragsdale called to say that they lost power and heat in portions of the school this morning, but everything is back to normal and the children are fine. It never got below 58 degrees, and they always had power and heat in some parts.

I wasnt alive yet, and I didnt live here. I experienced one in '98 that I would rather not have to relive. Lost power for several days. Some lost it for 2 weeks. We drove 2 hours to the coast, rented a hotel room for 1/2 hour, just to shower. I was a little embarassed, needless to say!!

If you zoom in on Dallas, it shows ice over Cedartown. Ugh.

Yes, if you look at the radar, we are getting it much sooner than Atlanta. It is showing blue (snow) for us, and green (rain) for Atlanta. Everyone be safe!!

Yes, it cracks me up too, but I dont like driving in ice/slush, and crap. I've driven in the blizzards, ice, slush, sleet, freezing rain, and snow MANY times. I just dont like it. Other than driving in it, I dont much care...bring it on. Oh, sorry, you probably dont want drinks this morning!!

I Live in Yorkville, but work in Austell. I really hope it isnt icy! Dallas is showing the same thing, starting at 10am, except there is a sunny break around 1-2 pm. I guess we shall see.

Well, www.weather.com hour by hour forecast says icy wintry mix for Rockmart starting at 10am. As of last night it said it was starting at 3pm. Is the weather website accurate??

Gas prices are up, schools are closing, etc. I'm with you though. I wanna stay home and enjoy it. Most are excited, not scared, I think. I need a snuggle day.
