Homemade Jambalaya and cornbread. Yummy!!

There was one out a while back, I think it was called "And They Do" by Trace Adkins. I become a blubbering idiot when I hear that song because it makes me think of my son growing up so fast. He is 22, but it still reminds me of when he was a little boy.

As a college student, I know how expensive textbooks are. The only way that I would back something like this would to insure that parents and students are held completelyresponsible if something happens to the device. None of this, "oh I don't have any money, you never asked me to take responsibility for something that you gave my child". Every student that is given one should have to put down a cash deposit before taking one out of the school. Way too many thieves in our community.

They got the baby back last week. In this episode they are back home already.

It is funny that you say that, because my husband and I said the same thing. When they all started laughing in the back of the police truck, that came as quite a surprise. Good show, but can get raunchy at times.

I really, really want to pass Algebra this quarter!! Other than that, I am good (unless Santa can make me rich and gorgeous).

I have a bunch of food that I am trying to get to her, but I can't get in touch with her. Does someone have a number for her?

Does this idiot realize that true business is not handled on Twitter!! You don't cancel commitments through tweets. If you don't want to do the show, who cares!! But be a professional and cancel your performance in a proper business manner, not like an adolescent throwing a temper tantrum. One day he is going to say the wrong thing to the wrong person.

Believe me, not all of us are "freaks". I played sports all through my childhood and so did my husband. Our son started playing football, basketball, baseball and soccer when he was very young. I do not have a problem with all kids getting to play in the rec leagues, just as we did growing up. But, I will be the first one to tell you that we are doing a huge disservice to our children by babying them the way that parents do. I think our kids need to learn that just because you "show up" you are on the team and play. Our society is too worried about our kids feelings getting hurt. When th

Yea I received my annual renewal for my homeowners insurance from Allstate a few weeks ago. The new rating did go into effect, but because of so many claims by homeowners this past year my insurance actually went up $100 a year. You just can't win for trying!!

Question...How long did you date before...
missytater replied to GipperGirl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Our first date was October 24, 1980 at the age of 18 and we got married May 3, 1986; so almost 6 years dating. We had our son in Feb, 1989. I would not change any of it. By the time we got married, we knew exactly what we were getting even though we never lived together. Still going strong 24+ years later. I truly found the love of my life!! -
I usually rent my books from Chegg.com, but he needs to check with his teacher because some of them do not require for the student to have the book because the homework is through MyMathLab. Chegg is a great place to rent, but he will have to purchase MyMathLab through either the school or through Coursecompass.com.

Definitely do not give up!! I am 47 years old and started to Chatt Tech in January, 2009. Sometimes it can really get to me. Last quarter I sat on the couch and cried because Algebra was just not sinking in. I went in the next evening and apparently asked the right question and was given the answer that made me understand it. I work full-time, have a family and take 2 classes (1 online, 1 classroom) in the evenings. Your kids are truly watching you right now and you will be their biggest inspiration when their school or lives get tough. Keep your head up, you can do this. We old chicks -
Those year trucks are pretty sought after. The creeps didn't think about the fact that they were stealing from an older man. I am so sorry to hear that! I will be on the look out for it.

Where can we find the recipe? I would love to have it. By the way it was really nice to meet you last week!!

I had mine taken out a couple of years ago and at the same time had an umbilical hernia repaired. I have had many surgeries and this was the easiest surgery out of all of them. The gall bladder surgery did not even hurt, but the hernia repair was a little painful. I was up walking around not long after surgery.

I live in the southern part of the county right across the street from a fire station and my insurance went up $120 per year. They said that we indeed get a reduction in one area, but another area went up; thus the increase. She said basically we are paying for all the people that had flood damage and the ones that have destroyed their homes because they were foreclosed on.

I went back to school when I was unemployed. Your friend can do this without a problem I believe as long as they are a full-time student. If they are, then they do not have to actively seek employment. Also, tell them to check and find out if they have a WIA office at the school. I used WIA funds in school and it really helped with the items that the Hope Grant would not pay for. Also, if they choose to go to a technical school they can get the Hope Grant which is great. Georgia Highlands is not a technical school, so they will either have to pay for it, apply for financial aid or the Pe

I stopped in there today and picked up a menu. They seem really expensive. I guess if you just do not want to drive very far to pick up something or you want it delivered, it might be alright. But $27.00 for 2 large pepperoni pizzas is a little much. Is it good?

Well what happend is that they told me they have to get rid of some infection in her body. I just had no idea that they were going to cut her open that extensively. This is just a personal opinion, I know that a lot of people really like them. I will just never take anymore of my animals there. Everyone has to be comfortable with where they leave their furbabies. I choose to go elsewhere.

i was definitely not impressed with New Ga. Animal Hospital. I took my cat in there for a rash on her leg that caused her to pull her hair out and when I picked her up they had cut her from her paw to half way up her stomach. She had drains in her leg and she also had one of those Elizabethan (sp) collars on. They said that she had some infection that had to be drained. If I had known what they were going to do to her, I would have never let them touch her. It took her 2 months to get over that. It was completely uncalled for what they did to her.

I cannot remember if you said that this is her first or second quarter. I know that part of the reason behind holding the Pell money is that they want to make sure that you are actually going to attend school. I know that a girl that I worked with had to wait to get hers. I feel that there are probably "students" that apply for the Pell Grant, get the money and then decide not to go to college. The money is then spent on other things rather than school. I also do not know if this is true, but those funds are considered taxable income; you may want to check on that if it makes a difference
