good heavens. Who in their right mind would WANT to be a special needs teacher when they are scrutinized so heavily?! I agree that restraint should be used only when absolutely necessary. Teachers are also not above being held to a high standard but good grief! As taxpayers are we headed towards a society where EVERYTHING is video taped for our own protection? Even that is often misinterpreted! Teachers are screened and the majority of them are good people, especially those that teach the special needs. They will only see things that you post for "friends". contract lyme disease and see what type of testing they want you to do. And those tests are not even the positive/negative type. My bill for 6 tests was 1708.00. Thank goodness for insurance. I don't complain about the testing. I don't want to die.
