I am on the road to recovery thanks to some long term antibiotics that I started in August. I am far from well but definitely on the right path as of right now. I tried the salt thing that you did and I thought I was going to die for a few days. Now that I feel better, I'm almost tempted to try that again.

I think some forms of autism are linked to bacterial infections that have not been detected. Now I don't think EVERY case is but I think there is something there that needs to be explored. This is only because I contracted Lyme disease in my back yard in South Paulding. You can find lots of information on it and I have overdosed on reading it all.

you know, I just rely on the goodness of unknown people to push her along in life. She literally views it as "I have charisma, people just give me stuff", . I know why people give her things and I'm grateful that there are good hearted people who see someone in need. I just wish she could see that people are giving these things to her because they are kind hearted and want to help. I give her material things all the time but they need more than I could ever give them on a daily basis.

Your question is a rather interesting one. My daughter will not share much with me. A few years ago, she got tired of my mothering and not-so-politely told me when she wanted me to know something, she would tell me so quit asking questions and don't call to "check in to see how she's doing", she did not wish that type of relationship with me anymore. So, if I ask something, she may just look at me and not say anything or she may start screaming uncontrollably at me. My elementary child has an IEP. We are coming up on a school/grade transition. I want to make sure the accomodations are correct and appropriate. Is there such a person that checks to make sure the school is providing appropriate accomodations that is NOT EMPLOYED by the school system? Also, if you have any suggestions regarding this type of issue, I would appreciate it. If your comment or suggestion is of a negative nature, please PM me. Maybe their "street" isn't safe. Ever tried walking down Bob Hunton Road? GEEZ, it's almost not safe enough for my kid to cross the street when the school bus lights are flashing!
