  1. There are/were 3 hotels in Blue Ridge.
  2. I suspect that they have someone in custody and are questioning him. As far as an official 'arrest' that may have not yet been made because at that point he could request an attorney and the flow of any other information from him would dry up.
  3. Nope. But it looked worth a try if I was going.
  4. Okay Hank Johnson, it's now up to up to say something stupid. (like "the island is going to tip over due to too many people").The people in your district who voted for you, previously had elected Democratic Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. Cynthia McKinney says "Government Carried Out Boston Terror Attack…" Aren't you people living in Georgia's 4th Congressional District proud?
  5. Why is it that politicians get guys with guns to protect them in their own gun-free zone, but our children are refused the same protections in their gun-free zones? Does anyone think that someone who intends on doing harm is scared off by a gun-free zone? Doesn't it mean that they have a better chance of harming more people before the good guys with guns show up? I guess we could cut out shoplifting by posting a 'theft-free zone' sign outside the mall or Walmart. Or maybe hang a 'Criminal-free zone' sign up. I'm sure "Sexual Predator-free zone' signs around public playgrounds wou
  6. Umph! All they had to do was follow the road of good intentions...
  7. 2PM this afternoon? I'm sorry, I'll be taking a nap then...
  8. And you just 'thought' you owned your property.
  9. When we sold my parent's home in Rome a couple of years ago, they had it tested for Radon. The tests came back too high and I had to get a mitigation company to come out and do their thing and then retest it. Sad thing was, this was a new house that they had lived in for only a few years, and they both died of cancers in the same year. Not saying it was determined to be the cause of their deaths, but a strange coincidence if nothing else.
  10. Rhett, you are absolutely right. The media wants everyone's attention on this gay debate to take the focus off of the much more important issues that effect everyone of us. While everyone is distracted with this useless debate, our government is getting away with committing all kinds of unconstitutional and immoral acts. The government is plotting to take away your constitutional rights while the media is running a cover-up and distraction game to keep us from focusing on the bigger picture. They're succeeding. The average american knows more about reality TV shows, celebrities, and v
  11. Sorry, Eddie, but I cannot have you misleading people again. The Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy. He died in 1931. Louis A. Bowman, an attorney from Illinois, was the first to initiate the addition of "under God" to the Pledge. He first used it in a meeting at a meeting on February 12, 1948. The "Under God" phrase was incorporated in 1954. Just more lies and misinformation... But we've come to expect that from you.
  12. That's okay SOLO. I've reported this post to the proper authorities and they will be investigating. Some people just don't know where the line should be drawn between 'smart' comments and hate speech and threats.
  13. I wonder when the Nanny Mayor of New York will want to restrict the sale intake of all his children/subjects....
  14. Since my heart surgery I weight several times a times. If I weigh the first thing in the morning I weigh my heaviest. I normally weight around 10 or 11 AM after my Lasix has started taking off the excess fluid for the day. My weight from first thing in the morning to around 11 AM or so can fluctuate by as much as 8-10 pounds.
  15. Can be used to pitching horseshoes?
  16. Obama has DAHD - Deficit Attention Hypocrisy Disorder.
  17. Seriously, our risk management department got a case regarding one of our citrus de-greaser products that said on the label that it would 'defat skin' - meaning that it could remove the oils from your skin and leave it dry and cracked. Apparently, someone had taken that 'defat skin' literally. True story.
  18. Not sure, but Cow Tipping is also questionable. If you call a Cow with no legs a 1/2 of a Cow, it is also known as 'ground beef'...
  19. Maybe the driver put in some of that crappy E85 fuel.... A good reason why they travel with TWO Limos - now, in case one runs out of gas. However, the SS never buys local fuel - they carry their own, so what happened there?
  20. There are men who are or have been in abusive relationships with women. This is not a one way street...
  21. I think Churches do a good job in mobilizing their membership to vote on certain issues, the same as the Democrats and other community organization committees. There's nothing unlawful about it, as long as its done legally. If you want your way on a certain issue then you need to get people involved. Sometimes it's difficult to get the sheeple engaged...
