That is... if you can find any ammunition to buy...

Perhaps they've modified the amount of your refund and that is one of their required fields to look up the status. I had the same issue last year.

Hush! I've also most got my DW convinced that I will be full of special energy tomorrow. Yeah, I mentioned something about my "exact sextile"... She just giggled..'okay...' When those outer planets are properly aligned you might be able to see Pluto through the rings of Uranus.

That's good to know, since tomorrow is really my birthday. :-)

I wonder how many of those Hiram cops felt it necessary to take their bullet out of their shirt pocket and load their gun?

If we take the labor participation rate at the start of the great recession, 66%, we get a whole other number of jobs needed each month to keep up with population growth. If we keep the same rate of unemployment, 8.1%, we would need 545,551 jobs per month and it would take an entire year to get to the same August rate of unemployment, 8.1%. This is because by increasing the labor participation rate 2.5%, we took 6,089,150 people not counted and added them to the labor force statistics and of course, they would enter in as unemployed. The unemployment rate is the ratio of those in the civil

And Eddie will claim it's due to rednecks from Mississippi... And he'll show you an unrelated chart.

As of Monday, the IRS is slowing down the processing of returns, on the order of the President due to the Sequester.

And watch out for those that want to pay you more than you are asking and want to send you a check and for you to send then a check for the difference. -
I often fly in my dreams but I don't flap my arms. I remember looking up and just inhaling and I would rise up and fly.

Yes. The bad part is that I also have Nightmares in vivid color. ZC probably dreams in colour though...

Since staffers tend to stay on from election to election, and since they are probably the most up-to-date on the most recent revisions to the bill, is it possible that those staffers are advising Braddock on how to vote on this issue and the others in the law enforcement community may be out-of-date or have a biased agenda in this matter?

Well that's just great, Here I am, thinking they might be unemployed, homeless, eating at a soup kitchen, and now they might end up getting a room and 3 squares a day.

And I remember the many programs they were trying to use to teach those people in Africa on how to keep from becoming infected, ranging from abstinence to the use of condoms, which the Reverend Jesse Jackson quickly disputed by saying sex was the only enjoyment that these people have. That made a lot of sense. Of course, like any thing else that Jesse or Al Shapton have "championed" had it actually worked, they'd be out of a job. They don't want life in Africa to get any better.

Nurse refuses to perform CPR on elderly woman
Georgia Dawg replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You have to remember, this took place in California - the land of fruits and nuts. One study found that only 2% of nursing home residents receiving CPR survived to hospital discharge. -
Why should the couple who ordered water and sandwiches and took 30 minutes of the waitstaff's time should pay any less in tip, than a couple who orders soft drinks and steaks and took 30 minutes of their time? Why then should a tip be based on a percentage of the bill instead of the time you consumed of the waitstaff?

At least it was only dirty dishes in the oven, and not the body of a previous boyfriend...

At a company I used to work for, we had a gay man and a gay woman who were close friends, who used to room together when we had out-of-town events. This gave the HR manager fits on how to deal with it.

Nurse refuses to perform CPR on elderly woman
Georgia Dawg replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
In California, Good Samaritan protection is available only only to someone who, without compensation, renders aid at the scene of an emergency. On another note, proposed California legislation to require automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in assisted living facilities was defeated. One study found that only 2% of nursing home residents receiving CPR survived to hospital discharge. But the Obama/Biden shout would be "but if we can save just one life..." By God, she was a Democratic voter! -
While taking my groceries to the car, an older lady called to me from the door of her call and asked me to speak to her husband. They were parked in the first handicap spot and he had been listening to the radio while his wife had gone inside to buy groceries. Once everything was loaded he could get the car started. So I put my groceries in my car, got out my jumper cables and pulled my car around to theirs and hooked everything up and jumped their car. After I put everything away the lady waved me back over to the car and her husband wanted to hand me some money. I told him no, but he kep
