What no thread about the DA's race?
Georgia Dawg replied to Cathyhelms's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I've seen Lane in action - not impressed. I've seen Donovan in action - would like him to represent me if I ever got in trouble. If pubby is against Donovan then all the more reason for me to vote for him - which I did. And will again. -
REMEMBER HANK (GUAM IS GOING TO TIP OVER) JOHNSON?

These are the same fools who voted for Cynthia McKinney and put her into office. I wonder what IDIOT those people will elect next to represent them? If I lived in that district I'd have to move out. -
How did your Statewide Candidates do ?
Georgia Dawg replied to surepip's topic in Paulding County NEWS
How about the Stout - Braddock run-off? I think Stout should be allowed to return to his regular line of work instead of pretending to represent the people. -
Well then they have it wrong. DA's. :-) It will be a runoff between Donovan with 38.5% and Lane with 37.1%. Plumley pulling up 3rd. That's with 85% of precincts reporting. Of course that could change but most media outlets would project a winner (runoff in this case) with that percentage. Those voters are the same fools who voted for Cynthia McKinney. Go figure.

I remember I was only 11 and watched it with my family. When we went and visited the space center and saw the lunar module, they told us that it had less computing power that one of our old 286 personal computers. -
She'll be out in under 2 weeks. Just wait and see. They'll give her time off for good behavior.

I always felt like someone was watching me....

I get emails from Kim Hunt at Kinetix (http://www.kinetixhr.com/) all the time looking for people with your set of skills. You might give them a call and see what they've got open now.

I had Verizon for quite a while, no dropped calls and great customer service. One time we went and bought replacement batteries for our phones. The backs wouldn't stay one and they couldn't order new phones or backs for us. They eventually gave us new phones that normally sell for $300 a piece. I used to have AT&T. Always had problems with dropped calls or no service. We called and talked to AT&T technical folks many times to resolve the issue. They told me to turn off the phone and then turn it on again - about 3 times. I told them how about I turn it off - and leave it off and sw

It has been pretty damp in the tunnels with all of the rain we've been getting. We need to make sure that they stayed maintained and not left to the forces of nature. I would love for someone to ask these candidates about their position on the tunnel system and what are their plans for them. That might really give us an indication as to who to vote for.

I got tired of the tax free holiday. I could never go into Best Buy or Staples to buy anything computer related because they would have that area blocked off. People had to line up to go into that area and you had to tell them what you wanted. No one was allowed to shop or browse. I'm glad it's gone. Besides, it was only 7% savings. Sales are often more than that.

Your best bet is to try for a hotel. Most condo owners only rent to weekly guests. Even if that week is vacant due to a cancellation BP is reimbursing condo owners if they file a claim and BP is paying the condo owner's normal rate. I doubt you'll find anyone that will rent for only one night. Most condos have a 3 night minimum even during the winter season.

If you are staying overnight and you don't already have plans, something we found interesting when we were there was to do a Vampire Tour that night. There are some pretty interesting stories (some true, some stretched for sure) that you'll hear and they stop at several bars along the way on your walk through town. It was a LOT of fun!

I have that entire week available (July 24-31). I had a cancellation for that week. If it doesn't rent then I'll be getting reimbursement from BP. www.vrbo.com/284668

What bothers me is when you're working on something, perhaps searching the Internet for something, and when someone walks in and looks over your shoulder and says "Why did you click off that? What are you trying to hide?" Not trying to hide anything, you just happened to look at my screen at the same time as I was moving to the next web page.

Heaven forbid if he had been trying to chew gum as well, all at the same time. [shudder]

Strange animal sounds in the woods at night...

That's what I was gonna say. I listened to the wav file and it sounds similar to the Bigfoot moanings. -
Mine is $411. Even though it's set on the same temperature as it was last summer, that doesn't mean much. The temperature this summer has been much hotter than it was last summer and your AC has to run longer to maintain that temperature. The only way to ensure that your bill is the same as last year would be to set it to 15-20 cooler than the outside temp. The average high temp for June 2009 was 88.18 degrees with 15 days above 90. The average high temp for June 2010 was 89.00 degrees with 18 days above 90.

It's similar to the Patagonian toothfish. Demand was really down for this ugly looking fish. They changed its name to Chilean Sea Bass and everyone raves about it.

Nope. It would be a liquid ingredient that is popular here in the south, and it's not tea.

What she said.

And not a single recipe here has the secret ingredient...
