Yep. Time to just fold up American Idol and move on to something else. Everyone knows the show is fixed anyway and not worth watching.

Nails & Tan next to Johnny's Pizza on 278 in Hiram is great. My DW goes there all the time.

Oh yeah?

Don't you just love how some people put out information, stated as fact, when it's wrong?
-
At least, you just HEARD about it. Or maybe, you did HEAR it....

Everyone on here kept saying they like R&R Seafood and that they had the best seafood. So we went down there tonight because Thursday was their Crab Legs special - or so I thought. THE DOORS WERE LOCKED, NO LIGHTS ON, NOBODY AROUND. It appears that they have closed down. (Is it true?) Why would someone close up when so many people on here rave about their food?

LOL. That reminded me of this guy giving someone directions.... you go down this road and then turn just past where the big oak tree used to be... It's hot out there. Perhaps a speedo...

Maybe you should try a hands free device WITH the tin foil hat for better reception.

Anybody hear on the scanner what happened on 278?

I hate that when everyone is already getting over into a single lane and some a$$hole runs down the open lane up to where it's closed and then expects someone to let him in. Somebody needs to teach those a$$holes a lesson that they're not special. -
Bank of America has historically been much worse than Wachovia. However, under the new banking laws starting next week they should pretty much be on the same level playing field. The best thing is not to bounce checks. They can hold checks for a day or two in order for them to clear. That won't be changing. If you can't help bouncing checks then you should put $100 in your account and not put it in your register total (just write it in the top margin of your register) and you'll soon forget about it and not be bouncing checks because you'll have that buffer - just don't start counting on it be

These kids wil look really cute when the principals and teachers get together and enforce the hair rule and make them wear bobbie pins to keep their hair out of their eyes.

The run-off is on August 10. The General Election for Republicans is held Tuesday, November 2nd. Democrats vote on Wednesday, November 3rd. They don't want Republicans and Democracts standing in the same line getting mad at each other and starting fights.

Yeah, I've got a recorder that records TV/Movies directly to VHS tape or DVD RW. Like others have said, make sure you do the right format - +R or -R. (or +RW or -RW if you want to use them over and over).

I used to be a rouge vigilante and used Dr. DOS because I didn't want to use Microsoft DOS. The problem is when you want Support, Software, and compatibility with the business world - it's better to go with what over 50% of the people are using out there, and that would be PC's - not MACs. If you decide you buy a MAC, I've got an old Sony Betamax machine I'll sell ya.

What Madea said! My family all voted for Donovan in the primary and we'll be voting for him in the run-off. Reading pubby's rant on Donavan convinced my DW.

Does anyone know who Gov. Perdue is backing?

I don't think the intelligent people want to get involved in politics and put themselves and their families through all of the negative attacks and lies that politicians are famous for. I agree that we need someone with fresh ideas, someone who can motivate a country and reunite our country behind common causes. Many people held out great hope that Obama would be such a person but he had his own agenda, was ranked as the most liberal senator ever, and everyone just looked the other way. If we only knew then what we know now. I hate to see the Republicans wasting their energies on Sarah P -
There are still signs for Tommie Graham out in our area. And there is still a sign up for David Austin. When do you think those signs will come down - when they are finally voted out of office?
-
I have to agree with you. Most of the country doesn't start until after Labor Day. We always started in September and we always out by the first week of June.

It's Friday. How about a silly picture thread?

Maybe it's JUST the bus foreman who is going to a 4 day work week - and didn't know it was just him. Don't you hate it when they do a "fruit basket shake-up" only to find out that you're the ONLY fruit?

I'm glad my wife doesn't have that policy.

2 Backed by Palin, Gingrich in Ga. Governor Runoff Two Georgia Republicans who wielded dueling endorsements from Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich will face a showdown in a GOP runoff for governor, while a Democrat who served a single term as governor won his party's nomination for a comeback bid.Former Secretary of State Karen Handel will face former U.S. Rep. Nathan Deal in an Aug. 10 runoff for the Republican nomination. With 83 percent of precincts reporting from Tuesday's primary, unofficial returns showed Handel had 33 percent of the vote to Deal's 24 percent. Palin's nod helped Handel -
What no thread about the DA's race?
Georgia Dawg replied to Cathyhelms's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Oh really? He's got an ADA on his staff that came in after one trial, one in which he failed to prove his case, and told us that his hands were clean and if anything happened to this child that his blood would be on our hands. If he had done a better job proving his case perhaps we would have decided in his favor. That ADA needs to go too. BTW, it was Dick Donovan's method of questioning, rebuttal, and his overall commanding courtroom demeanor that I was impressed with - not his height. That sounds like a superficial person's opinion who would be impressed by one's appearance.
