  1. Of course that article is just one person's opinion, and I have my own too. I really don't think KIA will go away. They've made a significant investment it turning out a quality automobile at a very decent price. I would think GM, Ford or Chrysler would go away before KIA for the same reasons mentioned in the article. KIA has a brand new plant down in Lagrange that is turning out a good product, quickly and at a price point that is welcomed in this economy. I would hate to see Reader's Digest go away. What am I going to read in the bathroom from now on????
  2. Rule #1 - Never fly in the afternoon-early evening in the summer time. Storms will always cancel/delay flights somewhere impacted other hubs. Rule #2 - Don't forget to pack plenty of patience. Rule #3 - Obey Rules #1 and #2
  3. I'll give them another try. My DE had the crab legs. Nothing much to write home about. She wasn't impressed. I was seeing problems all over the restaurant. Slow service, slow with food coming out. And it wasn't due to stairs - we were on the main floor. And we didn't order drinks - just tea. They probably cater well to large parties and such. But I've never had a problem at SeaBreeze, always had good service and good food - lots of it. If they ever had a bad night my visit never coincided with it. Strange our first night at R&R ended up on their rare "off" night.
  4. We went to R&R last night. Service was crappy. Lost our order, food was late, service was very slow. Don't worry, I'm not providing a web link to them.
  5. http://buzz.yahoo.co...zlog/93828?fp=1 So you like rainbows, huh? Heck, we all do. But not even Kermit the Frog or Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" can match YouTube's Hungrybear9562 (real name: Paul Vasquez) for over-the-top ROYGBIV enthusiasm. In a that's taken the Web by storm, Mr. Vasquez captured footage of the elusive double rainbow. Wait, scratch that. It's not just a double rainbow — it's a "full" double rainbow. That means two complete arches, one on top of the other. Even the most cynical city slicker would have to admit that the sight of the two rainbows is pretty
  6. Yep. I believe they are maintain as separate legal entities to keep one from dragging down the other. The rumor was they were going to open GulfBreeze in the old Carino's building. Of course the word 'Gulf' might lead one to believe the food is a little greasy/oily.
  7. Go to SeaBreeze in Douglasville. They've got all you can eat on Tuesday and Wednesday. I've never had a bad meal there.
  8. Serving 19 days and he wants to talk about "his record"? Now, I'm getting cards from someone in our subdivision that wants us all to vote for him because "he voted like he said he would". Something doesn't smell right here. Based on the tone of Stout's remarks and other undertones I think I'll let him sit the next session out.
  9. I have personally seen Drew in action as well as his ADAs - not impressed. Figures why our DA's office is in such a mess. I have personally seen Donovan in action. Very impressed. His knowledge of the law, his conduct in the courtroom, his organizational skills - all should be something that the ADAs are taught. I actually felt sorry for the ADA that I saw up against Donovan in one case. So, Donovan will be gettin my vote.
  10. Yeah, I must have seen the same one too and I just figured she had divorced him. If he had passed I would have expected another sticker on the back with a RIP.
  11. I guess it's time to stock up on the Forever stamps at the lower price.
  12. I guess the lighted door bell is powered by an incandescent bulb instead of a CFL.
  13. An ice cold Coca Cola with a pack of Tom's peanuts dumped into it. I still have some 8 track tapes.
  14. I usually give them $3 and ask them how they are doing. If they tell me "better than I deserve", then I give them $5.
  15. I hope everyone knows that most cars have an arrow near the gas gauge that indicates which side the gas is to be refilled on. [Now everyone is going to have to go look for it]
  16. Sometimes it's just the field you are trying to stay in or get into. For example, we are begging for people. We can't find enough qualified people. And it pays well and you can work from home.
  17. Gotta have the icemaker. We just bought a new frig - the other one was 5 years old :-) And this one has ice and water in the door and a separate icemaker in the bottom freezer. Sweet! Does anyone still use a churn to make their butter? Anyone using their churn for anything other than an umbrella holder?
  18. The bookstore owner looks up and says "What the hell is this, some kinda joke?"
  19. I called a guy from Scotts and he said I could put Castor Oil on them, or use CritterGitter. I don't know if he was actually a doctor or not....
  20. Remember, when you can't Dazzle them with Brilliance, Baffle them with Bull Sheeze!
  21. Correct. It is a new law going into effect regarding that too.
  22. Or maybe she was trying to outdo Guard Dad and passed gas and was hoping no one would notice.

  24. Make sure to get a good inspection. Just about all of the houses on the lake had flood damage from the September flood that almost busted the dam.
