Know why the crack in your butt goes up and down instead of side to side? So when you go down the sliding board, it doesn't go "fwubba fwubba fwubba...."

Graduating with honors is one thing. But when 25% of the class is 'honored'? That's no honor. Before you know it, most if not all of the class will be 'honored'. The honor students typically make up a very small percentage of the class. It's going to be sad when some of these 'honor' grads find out next year they ain't as smart or 'honored' as they thought they were.

I'll second that one - on the Olive Tree. Very good indeed.

That is a mental image that I just didn't need right now.

Beware putting chlorine tablets in your skimmer. That causes a high level of chlorine to run through your pump and it will degrade your equipment. The reason for the floater is to disperse the chlorine over the entire pool area so that the normal chlorine level in the water is run through your pumping and filtration system. That's is why an automatic chlorinator will be on the output side of your equipment (where it shoots the water back to your pool) instead of on the input side (prior to the pump). I use a floater and all of my pool equipment is the original equipment, including liner, which

You'll be okay if you go to either location in the next few weeks. If you wait much longer than that you will risk having oil for the spill getting caught in the Loop Current and getting picked up by the Gulf Stream. They are expecting more of the oil to get in the Loop Current any day now. When that happens oil will start splattering the beaches from Miami up through North Carolina.

Right now we need to: 1) stop the flow 2) protect the beaches, marshes and wetlands.

Pet's fur can help clean oily Gulf Coast

I concur. BP won't try any new methods to contain the spill. They are concentrating their efforts on trying to fix (as opposed to seal) the leak and not on trying to keep the oil that has already leaked from hitting the beaches. BP could have many barges sucking up the oil from the surface. They won't do that. Maybe it's because the US Government hasn't asked for that specifically or they've told them they don't think it will work. I see BP's cooperation getting less and less in the coming days now that AG Eric Holder has started a criminal investigation. BP is sitting on the second largest oi -
I wonder if it's been long enough for someone on David Austin's team to take down his election campaign sign at the corner of Cleburne Parkway and Rosedale...

It's not the danger of deep water oil drilling. It's BP. I believe the count of violations since 2005 for BP has been over 700. Exxon had 1. Sonoco has 2. But BP doesn't really want to seal up this well. They want those relief wells drilled and will lobby to keep pulling oil from them instead of sealing them with concrete. BTW, the Feds finally did approve Louisiana to build 6 tempory islands to protect the marshes and wetlands. It just took way too long for them to act. And the delay wasn't due to any 'study' they were doing. If there is a single aspect to the dangers of the BP oil leak

So, it sure didn't take long for the Democrats to get their political blame machine going.

Yeah, like I trust this same Corp of Engineers who said the levies in New Orleans would hold up too.

This won't be good if it continues until the November elections. I can bet, by then, the Democratcs will try to come up with something to say the Republicans delayed fixing the leak or delayed in cleaning up the spill before it hit the marshes and beaches. Remember, Rahm Emanuel said "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste." He will try to use this as a political advantage in November.

Ok. It doesn't have to be a nuclear bomb. It can be any of those Bunker Buster type bombs that they used in Iraq, or something slightly stronger. A conventional explosive could be used to close off the well. Whatever hole it makes won't reach the oil reservoir. You just need something to cause the drill shaft to collapse and shut.

Too bad our planners didn't work toward a better vision like the folks down in the Panama City did with their new airport. It would have great to actually have someone like SouthWest airlines serving our airport. THAT, would have brought business to Paulding County.

I guess you haven't read the entire Cap & Trade bill then... -
I don't particularly like gold or brass. I do like Ventian Bronze, which would go well with those colors.

Either that or the marks he left behind walking out of their new California mansion... -
Too bad the Army COE and CG aren't being proactive enough to dredge sand barriers to keep it off the beaches. Of course, that would take 'LEADERSHIP' - something that is very lacking in our Government today.

I definitely wouldn't go for a tattoo, but that's just me. I do like the jewelry idea much better and you can always trade it in for someone else/larger/better. The tattoo might sound good now, but so did marrying the guy you married in the first place.

It is sad to see a 40 year marriage end but I can bet that Al is not the same man that Tipper married. That dude has gone overboard.
