I presume that you know there are dads that fall into this as well? Of course we see this more with moms, mainly b/c they are more likely to have custody of the kids. What your really asking is do you use your kids to torture your EX? A lot of women do. The ones I know that do that I've told to grow the "f" up it ain't about them. Same with the men.

I do have to back DH on this. I clearly remember seeing/hearing women tell a gentleman that she can do it herself. Several times growing up. This was during the 70s, and 80s. I also have been complemented on how much of a gentleman my boys are. Seems to me that good manners are the exception instead of the rule, and yes I do blame the women's lib movement.

I have a friend that actually had a motherly talk to a couple of girls that kept calling her son. She told them they didn't want to be "that" girl, you know the one that all the boys talk about being easy. I'm not sure what the heck the mothers are teaching their daughters now, but it sure ain't respect for themselves. Thank goodness 13yr old DS, is to afraid of girls right now. He likes them, he's just not sure what to do with them.

Ummm OK????? For those that have a brain the Youth Challenge Academys are a great alternative to any law enforced "program." Yes, your kid will be yelled at, yes, they will be expected to do boot camp style PE (for lack of a better term). They will also come out with a high school diploma. They can also go to any college, any of the armed services, and they may even be accepted to places like the Air Force academy.

I know we might have the good kind of snake around, but along with the 2 cats, we don't seem to have a problem with rodents. Matter of fact the cats seem to think we must see the kill. There was a murder in the South Paulding area. The Perpetrator sniffed out the victim, and with devilish intent did kill the victim. When asked about his reasons the perpetrator stated that the victim had destroyed the garden, and refused to stop. The perpetrator was given a Snobby Snack, and sent on his way. No details were given as to the disposal of the victim.

Just a side note. I told my oldest when he got stationed at Camp LaJune that he needed to stay away from the local women, because they only wanted one thing, his money, and benefits. Well if you had read her post she stated that the young man is her nephew. I can understand the reluctance to let him out of her site. He is not her child, but she has been entrusted with him. Therefore, a certain amount of hyper- vigilance is expected. When I have been entrusted with my nieces/nephews no matter their age, I too am hyper-vigilante.
