  1. I put this here so it can be seen by everybody. Our schools are AWESOME!!! http://www.mdjonline.com/neighbor_newspapers/west_georgia/paulding-schools-highest-performing-and-beat-the-odds-on-state/article_b16d7ccc-027f-11e7-9332-07b3e559c33f.html Paulding County schools were among the highest-achieving schools statewide, and "beat the odds" to perform better than expected, on statewide assessments, the county Board of Education announced recently. Three Paulding County elementary schools were named to the 2016-2017 list of Title I Reward Districts and Schools. Reward Schools are Tit
  2. Our last child is a junior this year. Nope not even close to ready for him to go back to school.
  3. I totally forgot about following through on this. There has been quite a bit of health issues, and other stuff that took all of my attention. I will return to this by tomorrow with the information for you, if you are still in need of it.
  4. There are a couple of groups. I'll see if I can find out the name of the one my friend is with.
  5. We had a power surge a about that time. Also had some issues with the cable and internet.

  7. I'm at our daughter's house in Kennesaw, it's coming down hard, with thunder and lightning. Hopefully it will move on over to us in south paulding.
  8. Please remember, Just because you want to be in a crowd with LOUD noises, and heat doesn't mean your furbuddy wants to be there. Let them stay at home, where they feel safe. Please bring in your cats or confine them as well. Happy 4th of July everyone.
  9. 3rd generation cousins are 4th generations removed from a set of common grandparents. So there really isn't an issue with 4th or beyond coupling of the descendants. But, I'm really not sure why it matters anyways. In today's hypersexual America anything goes.
  10. Maybe alligator season needs to be a little longer. Seems the preservation program worked a little to well.

  12. But, then we would be assuming that the person doesn't have health insurance, if it isn't available to those without health insurance (again we are assuming that the woman has mental issues) how is it that drug addicts, and folks that are in rehab places can get it when they don't have insurance? I know for a fact that is available in south Florida, because I know people down there that are in and out of rehab places and they do not have health insurance. My links are at least a start. Why didn't someone in the family contact someone who (again we are assuming) could help? We seem to be

  14. We have rain!!! Of course now it will be muggy and HOT!!!
  15. I get the eggs pretty much right after laying. I actually got one today while bitty was still sitting on it. She was not happy. BTW do you have any suggestions for what I can use silky eggs for? They are much smaller then even small eggs that you can get from the grocery store.
  16. Good luck. I hope you find a field. You might want to check New Hope too. Do any of the parks have baseball just for the fun of it anymore, or are they all travel and such?
  17. Surpip, my mom had Humana, and my older sister also has it now, from what I understand it really is a great plan to go along with the medicare plan.
  18. Actually the fund was a charity fund not payed into by taxpayers. It was a memorial fund, and yes we have made donations to it.
  19. we had insurance when I had my children, thank you very much. I didn't see that I had dropped the rest of the thought when I went on to the next subject. I forgot to proof read the post.
  20. I already know all that. Yes, he is planning to go to college right out of high school. But, aren't the other insurances made to keep the kids on the insurance till they are 26? Why doesn't CHAMP-VA do that? Do you know how many times I have been asked "what's CHAMP-VA?" Once I explain that it's sorta like TriCare, they get it, but it's still a pain to have to go round about with the paper work.
  21. ^^^^ your statement. So yes you think everyone should suffer. MY POINT, in case you missed it, as the first, and second paragraphs were in answer to your statement. There were and still are programs in place to help the poor, and indigent, and health care insurance was affordable. But, now with the insurance being regulated out of business, we will see those things go away. Yes, we are headed for a single payer system. How many doctors are getting out of the taking the obama healthcare insurance? Are more people going into the healthcare fields? How long until the only doctors we have
  22. Yes, she is. Apparently so are a lot of other people. This seems to be the thinking that some of "those" think. Not everyone likes the color blue, but because a lot of people do those that don't must be forced to have all blue things. We almost lost our daughter twice when she was younger, both time she had to go to the hospital, both times we didn't have insurance, both times the hospital had a fund for people who couldn't afford insurance. Because I didn't have health insurance when I was young and very dumb I used the county health clinic for my bc stuff. My youngest has been on P
  23. Raising hand. I know folks too. But, I know for a fact that CC wouldn't know any that I know, because I and they wouldn't know him from Adam's house cat.
