Go back, and read her past postings. According to her her husband treats her badly, she has a number of illnesses, etc. Several women have stepped up to offer her sanctuary, and she has yet to take them up on it. Her husband might be treating her badly (depends on your definition) today, but tomorrow it might be better, At this point I do think she has had so much advice, and references she could fill a book, but I don't think she will follow through.

Could the officer have been turning around? You know by your security camera that he called the police for this? Do you have the dispatch tape?

Y'all are ASSUMING that the officer was called. We have a third person (who wasn't even there) account of something the neighbor allegedly witnessed. I'm wondering why didn't the neighbor offer assistance? I do hope no of y'all ever get called for jury duty.

Always help them go in the same direction they are headed. We live near Lake Jane, and are always helping turtles get across the road. We also keep a look out for the geese too.

So, guessing that the OP KNOWS that the police officer was called to come out, and unlock the door. There is no way that the officer could've been driving by, and seen a CITIZEN in distress b/c of the locked car. The neighbor who witnessed the whole thing (keep in mind that the OP is a third party in this) asked the officer what s/he was doing. I'm sure the neighbor also offered to help. I'm thinking that the neighbor also knows that the officer is not a relative/friend of the citizen. Just sayin.

It's the BOGO thing. Most of the couponer people I know hit up Publix for that. Like I said back home it was where you went for special stuff. Now they always had the same things as all the other stores, but they were always more expensive. Now, when we lived in PS we did shop at Publix, b/c it was the closest grocery.

Sorry. That's just excusing bad behavior. However because it is most often the custodial parent that does this there will be no consequences.

Back home you only went to Publix if you needed some kind of ethnic item. Seems to be the same up here. The prices are always higher. I'm not one to go all over the place to "get the best deals." So to each h/er own. But, I also HATE to go shopping.
