  1. Sent you a PM. I changed some things on control panel - if that doesn't fix it - I will contact "help desk."
  2. I've had bad customer service twice now at my current bank and I am ready to move. I would like to find a bank in Dallas instead of having to drive to Hiram, but if you rule out the one I'm at now (GH) - that doesn't leave too many choices. I looked at the "save as you go" plan with Wells Fargo and kind of like it, but I know some people have had problems with Wells Fargo's mortgages, so I'm wondering about using them as my regular bank. Was hoping someone that uses or has used them would tell me what you think of them OR if you don't use them, but have a bank you do like - would like some
  3. Alas, I knew it was her as soon as they started those "a housewife will die" commercials. I even knew it was going to be with a gun because they have made such a big deal out of her owning one. I hate it though because I really like the actress that plays Beth and use to enjoy watching her on Men In Trees when she played Annie.
  4. Yep. It's our Friday "must see tv." What season/episode are you up to? Have you seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer (now in reruns only)? If not you would like it too - the pilot episode plays tomorrow I believe. They show those on the Spike channel. ETA: I'm a Sam fan too, but I also like Cassel.
  5. It's reminding me a lot of Britney Spears. I think he is either bi-polar, manic depressive or both. I've quit watching the interviews, but I do hate that his father and children are going through this. He needs an intervention before he hurts himself or someone else.
  6. What does this person look like...other than creepy that is?
  7. Well....they have to come out of there some time! Oh, wait.... I forgot that the the tunnel system extended into the city of Dallas!
  8. Yes, it is good - but more of a Panda Express atmosphere than Taki or Sapporo.
  9. I thought CA had just forgot one line of the SSB - I totally missed the "PLANE was still there" (huh?) As for Roseanne - I saw an interview with her a while back and she said she didn't originally start out with the plan to attempt to make it comedic, but she knew she had started too low and couldn't make the jump - so she decided to make a joke out of it. She admitted that it was a HUGE mistake on her part and wished she could go back in time and do it over, but she can't - and boy has she paid for it. That being said --- I think she has always had some "issues" - the rest of the inte
  10. I'm trying to figure out why you would let your dog go after something that you think might have rabies???? As someone mentioned - possums very, very, very rarely get rabies - they are quite resistant to it. BUT - they do have claws and teeth and I don't know why anyone would let their dog back out to tangle with something that could hurt it or possibly cause the dog to get an infection if it gets bit. Not trying to be a smarta$$ - but I don't understand why you didn't put the dog up until you knew it was gone.
  11. Yes, a friend of mine mentioned it. I believe he has had an article published in it. I thought he was joking, but - yep, there really is a magazine with that name!
  12. My SIL has heard that they are tearing the entire shopping center down including Kmart and then build the Bass Pro Shop where the Kroger is - has anyone else heard this? Hoping she is wrong because we use the Kmart pharmacy and really like the people there.
  13. It wasn't hard to find until they built that subdivision and changed the layout of the road. I'm not sure if I could find my way back to it now or not. I've been wanting to get some photos of it, but haven't had time to try to go hunt for it again. Please let me know how to get to it when you find it - the old tombstones are beautiful - even if the graveyard itself needs work.
  14. What type of plant is it? You may already know, but there are several indoor plants (all of the lily family!) that are toxic to cats (and dogs). Orange peels are suppose to deter them....when I put them outdoors in my flower bed, however...I swear our cats just laughed at me!

  16. I did the same thing - but wasn't burning the wood - it was just piled up next to the fence and I stepped on a board with a nail in it. I did not have a tetanus shot and hadn't had one in years. If there had been any sign of infection, however, I would have been there in a heartbeat. Keep it cleaned and watch for redness. You really should get the shot, but I was too much of a wimp.
  17. I guess I missed this, but how did it come out that the two were together? Did the wife find out and call police or how was this reported in the first place?
  18. So....you're saying that if I wanted to pursue a life of crime and breaking into vehicles....this might be a good time to start?
  19. I'm suddenly thinking I may have found a way to get rid of some of the junk I have around here....I'll just wrap the stuff in Christmas paper and put it in a department store bag!
  20. Laura (my all time favorite movie) Father Goose North by Northwest Mr Blandings Builds a House Harvey Bell Book and Candle To Catch a Thief It's a Wonderful Life Casablanca Operation Petticoat I Married a Witch Rebecca Portrait of Jenny Sunset Boulevard hmmmm, how much time do you have? I love, love, love old movies!!!!
  21. Confessions:::: I will actually rearrange my schedule to stay home and watch Grey's Anatomy. (and yes...I have a DVR!) I'm also hooked on The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.
  22. Nah, they need to put it near the tunnel system - then it would cut down on the traffic jams.
  23. Ummmm, NO...do NOT contact your mortgage company. Do NOT draw attention to the situation. Have you thought about trying to do a short sale on the property? That way you wouldn't have to worry about dealing with tenants and although you wouldn't make a profit on the house - you wouldn't have to be a long distance landlord either.
  24. I am 99% sure that for Paulding county you can file it online. www.paulding.gov I don't remember where the form is on the site, however, but I'm pretty sure we were able to do it without having to go to the courthouse. If your house is in Polk though - <aargh> you have to either go to Cedartown or catch the judge at Rockmart on Tuesday or Thursday.
