When I first heard this today - I almost thought they were talking about Carmen Ferguson. Does anyone remember him and know if he is still in jail? He killed his parents and sister and set fire to their trailor. I think it was in 1985???

Mrs. G and LPPT: Thanks! Do you know if these cleaners use a van, machine, hose system or do they use the smaller machines? The carpet apparently needs the "big guns" for a couple of high traffic areas. You couldn't even tell the small cleaner had went over them and I know they should have come out.

My Dad said the guy didn't put any cleaner in the machine, but he wasn't sure if some was put in before the machine came in the house (I doubt it). The company is suppose to have a "satisfaction guaranttee" - I guess we'll see if that's true.

My parents had their carpet cleaned yesterday and a lot of the dirt spots are still there. My Dad said that the guy had a small cleaner - about the size of what you could rent to do-it-yourself. The last time we had ours cleaned (five years ago) a man showed up with a van, a machine, and a long hose that ran back to the van. Our carpet looked like new. Anyway, I am wondering (for those that have had carpets cleaned recently) what type of equipment did they use? Do they still use the machine and hose (like the guy we used did) or do most companies now use smaller machines? I don't

It was spectacular wasn't it!? The woman that lost the boxer had her dog AT the fireworks; however. Please, please people --- don't take your dogs to fireworks displays! If you are setting them off around your house - please give them a safe place to stay and hideout from the noise. It's very scary to them and with their hearing being so much more sensitive than ours - I'm sure it must seem like the world is coming to an end!

Was it near one of the lakes on the small loop and on the right part of the path? They put some up a while back when a tree was about ready to fall. If it was across the path itself --- I have no clue.

What time of day did you do this? You need to do it in the evening because otherwise the sun will hit the soap and does indeed burn the leaves. Next time - just a little Ivory soap. Probably one part soap to three or four parts water. It is very gentle. I wouldn't hold out much hope if the entire plant is burned. Continue to water and care for them and you'll know in a few days.

I was wondering if anyone does kickboxing at TNT and if so - if you could tell me how much it is per month. I tried to call up there, but I guess everyone has already left for the day.
