Have you checked to see if Dee has a younger sister that would be a good fit with the family for less money? If the sister only cost $800 and she was newer and more energy efficient you might want to just bring her home instead of filing an insurance policy. Sorry for your loss!

Get some charcoal and put it in a coffee can (maybe several coffee cans since basement was wet). I'm talking about the charcoal like for fish filters - it is suppose to absorb the smell.

Flash Forward will be on tomorrow night too! I'm setting the DVR for it then. Tonight --- Vampire Diaries and Bones at 8 - Supernatural and Grey's at 9 and Grey's and Mentalist at 10. My DVR is getting a workout!

If you are on well water - you are fine --- UNLESS your water has become muddy or say your backyard was flooded and your well was under that. If so - you will need to do the bleach treatment to your water (where you pour it down the well).

Vinegar convert here too. Some of the fabric softeners have such a perfume scent - even getting near the bottles in the grocery store starts triggering a headache - someone suggested using vinegar and I've used it ever since. Not only does it work as well as softener, but if your towels have a slight mildew smell --- it gets it right out! Haven't tried baking soda - but I'm not surprised --- I use that combination to clean my sinks!

You really need to look before putting your hand inside --- a friend of mine got the mail out and saw something black out of the corner of her eye - so she dropped the mail on the ground. There was a black widow in between two letters. When she told me --- I thought "surely not - must just have been a garden spider", but she had taken photos and I'm not kidding - it really was one!!!
