QVC usually extends their return policy around the holidays for gift purchases. You should check with them to see if it's still returnable, but hurry, the extension won't last much longer.

We went by there last spring and photographed many plane loads of divers. They kept going back for more!

Extra card and battery(ies) for your camera. Definitely not the time for 'full card' or 'dead battery' issues.

If you go to Collinsville, go very early - before daylight. Take a flashlight. We went once, got there about 10:30 and the dealers were packing up to move on to another flea market. I think they had some neat stuff, but we were just too late.

We have the Select Comfort Sleep Number bed, too. Hubby has not had any back problems since we switched. We love it!

For dessert, I recommend the white chocolate raspberry cake! It is awesome! -
You can take your own photos with Santa on the Square in Marietta. Wednesday, Thursday, 10-6. Friday, 10-2. Line closes an hour before ending time, sometimes sooner. You don't have to purchase their photo, but it would be nice if you did. Photo ornament-$10, photo in cardboard holder-$8. Be prepared to wait in line. This all natural, real bearded Santa has been in high demand this year!

When I was little, we always left Santa a piece of Mama's homemade chocolate or coconut cake and a hot cup of coffee. DH is 'Santa on the Square' in Marietta. Last year one of the kids told him he would leave him beer and pretzels. Santa said, "But I don't drink beer!" Kid said, "You did last year!" Kid's dad's face turned very red!

Pike's had a sign out yesterday, cut trees 29.99.

Thank you so much for trying to find the owner of this class ring! Many years ago, mine was stolen and I often wondered who ended up with my ring. I'd love to have mine back!

There's a restaurant just north of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital on Church Street Extension called "Come and Get It" They have authentic Greek foods, and their Greek salad has the potato salad underneath. Very nice people, and great food.

Lenox and Perimeter malls have swimwear stores. Town Center used to have one, but don't know if they still do. You might check the mall directories online to see which malls have swimwear stores.

We got a card in our paper today, too, our name not on the envelope, but with the name and return address of the carrier. Also, the first two Christmas cards we received in late November, both had 'those letters with the year's events' inside and had cleverly been slit open down the sides of both envelopes.

Here's my secret recipe... SHHHHH, don't tell anyone! Chicken breasts: I use the boneless, skinless pkg of 3 or 4 and boil until tender, cool in 'frig awhile, then chop in processor (we like ours pretty finely chopped) or chop it up by hand any way you like it. It chops better if it has been cooled first. Blue Plate Mayonnaise: (Top Secret ingredient! Just doesn't taste the same with any other brand, and I've tried them all!) Enough for the consistency you like - start with a couple of good globs - you can always add more if needed. Salt & pepper to taste 2 or 3 teas

Santa on the Square in Marietta (well, actually the City of Marietta) allows you to take your own pictures. It would be nice if you purchased one, too, but they don't force you to. Santa is there on Saturdays 10-6 and Sundays 11-5. Line closes one hour before ending time.

How about an ornament for their tree? Homemade cookies, candies?
