Coach makes men's wallets. Check their outlet stores, most items are first quality, and the prices are reasonable.

I tried to make appointments for my daughter and myself for a Wednesday. I called several days ahead. She said they only had one chair and one appointment open for that coming Wednesday - did not offer another day/time for us both to come in.

It is so hot, the corn in the fields started popping and our mule thought it was snow and froze to death. (My mom used to tell us this when we were kids. We thought it was true!)

Yep, the Hiram McD's had the announcement on their sign this morning.

Could the fact that my child LOVES me to read to her be a bad thing?

My grandson loves books, too. He's only 19 months old, but at bedtime he picks out several bedtime books (which his mom keeps in his room) and she always reads the same book as the last book of the night - his favorite book, and he knows it's always last. Sometimes, he will not want to read all the books he chooses before the last book is read. He'll just hand the last book to her. His other books are kept in his playroom or the den, so he has access to them during the daytime. -
My daughter is an airline pilot. A couple of weeks ago she flew through a round rainbow. Wish she could have gotten a photo, but she said it was awesome!

I think what she means about "moms with cameras" is that the digital camera world makes taking photos so much easier than the old fashioned way with a film camera and manual operation (with digital, everything is done for you in an automatic mode so you don't have to choose anything if you don't want to - such as shutter speed, ISO, aperture - heck, you don't even have to know what those things are!) And, you get instant feedback with digital - don't like the photo, delete it. So many people get a digital camera, set it on "A" (automatic) and it takes good pictures (better than if you have t

Question on "touring" performing arts

Why, in the pit, of course! Unless they are onstage with the actors. Maybe they will rise out of the pit! -

The Fox does have an orchestra pit. The huge organ, "Mighty Mo", rises from the pit when being featured. -
The last time we stayed in Memphis, the hotel told us to bring everything in from our car - don't leave anything in it. We could see homeless people in the bushes right by the hotel parking lot. We were beginning on a month-long journey and this was our first stop. Instead of taking in our little overnight bag, we had to unload a month's worth of clothing, suitcases, etc. This hotel was right by the interstate and the next morning at daylight, the homeless people were at the top of the off-ramp with signs saying, "Will work for food" (meaning, give me money). The cops sounded the siren an

Mom, he's touching me! And he's looking at me funny, too!

I feel like I've got an elephant on my shoulders.

Everything looks great! Maybe we'll make it next week!

We thought the meatloaf was good. Meatloaf is so different from place to place and everyone's taste buds are different, so to each his own.

We ate there on Friday night also. Food was really good, and staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. DH had the meatloaf and I had the pork chops, which were very moist and tender (melt in your mouth)! I wish them well with their business! You all should try it!

It was probably the same one who dumped his lawn clippings and a window frame IN OUR DRIVEWAY a couple of weeks ago. That mailbox by the driveway and the gate should have given them a hint that someone lived there!

I think that's why he picked her... so everyone would 'understand' when they broke up. I think he was just looking for his '15 minutes of fame' and she probably was, too.

Marietta is having their 4th celebration on Saturday, July 3. Fireworks after dark, of course. Raindate, Monday the 5th.

This is the way I do it, too, followed by rinsing in cold water several times to cool the eggs. Hit the small end of the egg on your counter/table to crack the shell, then hit the large end, then roll it on its side to completely crack the shell. This loosens that membrane, and the shells will usually peel off almost in one piece. I then rinse the egg to be sure no little pieces of shell remain.

To the nice gentleman that stopped to help me this morning

I was laughing so hard I was crying. DH and DD were asking what was so funny. I could hardly read to them, couldn't see the screen because of the tears, and they were laughing hysterically, too! Thanks for giving us such a laugh - it's been a long time since I laughed that hard! -

Tibbitts Exterminating, located in Clarkdale. Ask for Nancy or Lynn. We've known them and used them for almost 30 years. Great people!

Vincent's is really good! And, Rosario's on Hwy. 41 in the little shopping strip next to Walmart in the Acworth area.
