I agree with the others that you need to ask around a lot more at the ball fields and request an e-mail to the coaches and request they forward it to their team families. Was any of the stuff labeled with his name and/or phone number? I put our phone number on just about everything that the kids have to take to games/camps/overnight trips, etc.

Very interesting. I had to send to my retired Command Master Chief BIL.

Click on Financial Aid then Scholarships to search by keyword for different scholarships for which she might qualify. Some are quite specific on who they help or where you live.

Our most recent ice cream "man" was actually two women with a very small child in a white van with ice cream stickers all over it and music blaring. We bought a few things from them last summer that were fine and appeared to be from Sam's Club or someplace similar. However, like another poster said, they came through the neighborhood so fast that by the time we heard them or the kids came in for money, they were gone. I wonder why they think they'll make any sales like this.

"If you all choose to duck the census, we can have one less right wing congressman from Georgia." Pubby owns the site and is free to spew whatever crap he chooses. His spewing is also why I will NOT purchase a paid subscription to paulding.com despite using it regularly. I have the freedom to choose where to spend my money and I choose not to support Pubby with a direct financial payment. He benefits from my participation by being able to show paid commerce members the number of users who might see their advertisements on this site and that is enough of a contribution. End o

Love that it's a Honda and at 9 years old still looks and runs great (knocking on wood). Love that when the middle and back seats are down and out it can easily carry a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood.

Another option is to spray the ceiling with paint. Below are some links to explain it. The important thing since your basement floors and walls are already finished would be to do a REALLY good job of hanging plastic sheeting to cover everything that you don't want painted. Putting crown moulding around the top edge would give it a more finished feel. http://rrmambo.vox.com/library/photo/6a00e398c5858a000300fa969031240002.html http://myhomeredux.typepad.com/blog/2006/08/a_cheaper_way_t.html http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/painted-basement-ceiling-how-to-tips-and-lessons-learned/

A short story on this can be found on wsbradio's website. Odd situation if the facts in that story are correct. Prayers said for all involved in this.

Best thing about this is that for the most part this is a true story first published in a Chicken Soup For the Soul book according to Snopes.com. http://www.snopes.com/glurge/fireman.asp

Kids from higher income families also have access to more money which could pay for an abor...ion. Their families may never even know a pregnancy occured. I keep trying to correct my spelling above...that was a Freudian slip of some sort on my part. Sorry, it won't let me correct it.

Not to scare you but please read up on meningitis here. It's best to know what to look for. http://www.cdc.gov/meningitis/about/faq.html

I didn't mean to imply that it IS an option, just that when you read the literal translation it COULD be interpreted as an option, the key word being IF.

Yes, I knew it. I learned it as "Repondez, s'il vous plait" (without the S in repondez) in my high school French classes. It translates to "Respond, if you please" which makes it sound optional and which I believe it should not be.

Cough - Cough - Cough - I'm sick of coughing and being sick

I give my kids Delsym cough medicine. It works pretty well. I believe it is time-released so it works for a longer time and helps you get through the night. http://www.delsym.com/about-delsym/ http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10804679&sourceid=40977711721460330053 If you save coupon inserts you might find a coupon for $1.50 off Delsym product (exp 4/25) 1/31 Sunday Coupon Insert Preview Posted on Jan 27 2010 SmartSource 1/31 http://www.southernsavers.com/2010/01/131-sunday-coupon-insert-preview/ -

Beautiful home and yard. Congrats and good luck in all the remodeling. I enjoyed looking at the "before" and "during" pictures. If I'm remembering right, wasn't your son pretty sick about a year ago? I'm so glad to see he's well and enjoying helping you in your new home.

I have a pet peeve, nothing to do with message boards, but something I consider rude: when I'm shopping in Target or Walmart it seems that someone has to come up right next to me or behind me to look at the same things I am looking at. They will SOMETIMES say "excuse me" but more often than not they just reach past me to get what they want. I will not do that to people. When I see people looking at items that I want to look at I walk around a few different aisles then go back at which time those people are usually gone. This happened this morning in Target while I was browsing through the

My son just rented a tux at Men's Warehouse in The Avenues on Dallas Hwy. For a standard black tux with tie, vest, cufflinks, shoes, and tax it was $102. We can pick it up several days early but it must be returned the next day. edited to correct spelling

Might be keratosis pilaris. Ask the doctor. My youngest son has this and it sort of looks like goose bumps but they are more spread out. It's mostly on his arms and thighs, flesh colored, no itching and doesn't bother him at all. http://helpforkp.com/

Since it late and you need relief now maybe you should run out to the store for one of those neti-pots (lavage) and at least rinse out your sinus cavities which may reduce the amount of mold you are exposed to. Good luck! My son has asthma and allergies and takes Claritin and Singulair everyday. He also has been on a course of allergy shots (immunotherapy) for almost two years. I think it is helping. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mold-allergy/DS00773/DSECTION=treatments-and-drugs Treatments and drugs By Mayo Clinic staff The best treatment for any allergy is to take steps

Can you remove window tinting from a back window that contains defroster wires?

Did you give her cash or a check? I don't think you are barred from going to court just because you don't have a receipt. You two had a verbal agreement and while they are more difficult to prove they are still legally binding. Can you show where you withdrew the money (if cash) or produce a cashed check? Are there others who knew of the loan agreement or witnessed it? Not sure what the statute of limitations is on something like this but it wouldn't hurt to stop by small claims court and get some information about filing. I'd also be very tempted to drop in on her place of work or home
