Just saw that on the news. SO SAD!!!

I was hospitalized with vertigo in Feb. Initially the doctors thought the extreme dizziness was caused by high blood pressure. But, it was coincidental that my bp was higher than the high bp I typically have. I saw an ENT and she explained about the crystals. The doctor moved my head slightly while laying on a table until the dizziness stopped. She would move my head again slightly and this continued until all the crystals were back in place. She said for a lot of people they have to repeat the treatment several times but fortunately that one time worked for me. I hope I NEVER have it again as

DH and I have been in Alabama since Friday AM helping a dear friend with her moving sale. We are recuperating and watching the race so for dinner it is: Pizza Hut Ultimate Cheese Lovers Specialty Pizza w/ Pepperoni. DS is cooking huge jumbo shrimp so I'll have some on the side.

All the above are GREAT suggestions. I absolutely HATE going to AMS and swore the last time would be my last time after sitting still for 2 hrs & 8 mins before moving an inch. We can drive to Talladega and get home quicker than we can go to Hampton. But, then again they built 'Dega for the traffic they knew it would pull. Six lanes in before and six lanes out afterward. They built the track in the middle of nowhere (DH used to quail hunt on that property )

The one cup recipe is the only way to go!!! I remember my Maw-Maw's peach cobblers and they were DELISH!! But, I also remember the mixing, rolling, cutting of the dough. I will continue with the one cup - so much easier!!!! Oh and of course topped with vanilla bean ice cream. YUMMMMMM. (Dang, now I am wanting a peach cobbler but no peaches in the house. )

I have been wondering about this, too. The only reason we knew about it was DD saw a flyer/application for it at the Food Depot on Hwy 61. A couple of days later she went back to turn in application for us to participate and was told the event was full. This was about a week before the deadline to participate. I called FD at Brownsville/92 and was told they had 100 spaces available but had 150 people signed up. They had called and confirmed all 150 were going to be there. I noticed when I made my last post that it was #15,999. So, I just wanted to mark the milestone of my 16,000th post in my own thread.

I was at a wedding of a good HS friend of my daughter. Teresa attended and was in the restroom during the reception. Another girl was there and started gawking at Teresa's engagement ring and actually asked her how many carats it was. Teresa sheepishly answered "6". The girl said, "DANG, mine it 2 carats and I knew yours was a LOT bigger than mine." It was obvious Teresa was uncomfortable with the conversation. She was very pretty and common (I mean that in a nice way - she wasn't showy.)

WOW was my reaction last night when his win was reported on the news. WTHECK??? And, as it is now he won't be able to serve as Sheriff anyway because he has been stripped of his Peace Officer's Certification. So now what?? A special election to replace him???? GEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Don't ya know it????? There is help available but they'll probably say they were too "proud" to ask for it. But, NOT too proud to starve a helpless animal. I hope they get what they deserve, too, but I don't know what is bad enough on this earth to be what they deserve. Steven Tyler actually turned out to be a good addition to Idol. I was not thrilled with his selection initially but he was quite entertaining and was good at judging talent. IMO. OHHHHHHHHHH YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! But, I cannot see him doing it. His tour dates are too successful and Idol has NOTHING to offer him.

WHAT A SHAME!!! I hate it that people get their kicks from doing such as this and then sitting back and enjoying the reaction of law enforcement and the public. SICK!!!
