He's beautiful! For some reason I thought you had just little dogs! I'm a big dog lover myself and I love that picture.

And people sure are different. Take Sarah Childs of Denham Springs, LA for example. She took the whole Bah Humbug Christmas thing just a little too far. (Though I did get a little giggle out of her craziness) NEW ORLEANS, LA – The ACLU of Louisiana filed suit in federal court today against the city of Denham Springs on behalf of local resident Sarah Childs over the display of lights that she installed at her home. Childs’ rooftop display in the shape of a hand with an extended middle finger has been the source of neighborhood complaints since it was installed. Most recently

Many, many thanks to all of you. It's a horrible feeling....waiting to hear what the doctors have to say, and I was cheered by your words of encouragement when I got home yesterday. There is not a definitive diagnosis just yet, although he is starting anti-seizure meds. More tests forthcoming. It's so true that a kind word can make a difference, and I didn't feel quite so nervous and scared after reading this. Thank you.

Someone very dear to me was taken to the hospital by ambulance this am after having a seizure. This little guy is my life. Those of you that know me may remember him tagging along to meet and greets. Good thoughts / prayers humbly requested.

I just turned off the TV in my office; just can't watch anymore right now. I'm feeling kind of numb...I don't know what that really means, except that I am not experiencing the same kind of shock and disbelief as when I watched the students running out of Columbine High some 13 years ago. And that's really sad. That what happened today is (to me, anyway) not as shocking as it should be. We may never have answers as to why, but it's clear that we need to change a lot of things about this country....this world. First things first. "Safety and security don't just happen, they

I only caught a little, but I'm sure I'll be able to watch later. Madison Square Garden was always an awesome place to catch a concert. Many, many memories of that place. I worked there for awhile in the mid 70's while I was going to school. Old timers know knew how to rock. Meddle was the first Pink Floyd album I ever heard. Echoes and Fearless are my favorites. A few years later when Dark Side of the Moon came out I saw them at Radio City Music Hall for the first time. I remember (really!) the tickets were general admission and I think they were like $13.00 or something. W

If you can't read them how do you know if they replied or not? Maybe they are just saying they wrote back and really didn't. Some people are just weird like that. Sorry. I'm having a goofy day. In all seriousness, Is your inbox full? Are you clicking on "notifications" or going directly to your "messenger" box? I guess I would send pubby a pm.

Sssshhhhh. It's a super secret pcom thing/ I think You have to be a paid member. And then right click on the number in the green box. That's nice. A little narcissistic, but nice all the same.

I just happened to notice that you voted up your own post. Anyway, it's kind of funny.

Well I think we can safely rule out Public Relations Manager for the "business". Maybe. -

This whole mess of a thread makes my head explode. Honey Boo Boo's family ain't got nothin' on pcom. I really need to go read something educational after this. -
Thanks. I have a folder full of material specs and information if you need anything. As far as blueprints go... I did my own. I worked as a purchasing agent for a plumbing construction company for 8 years when we moved to GA. It's a good thing too. Once we took the room down to the studs, we saw what a horrendous job the original plumber did. The shutoff for the soaking tub was under the subfloor...completely inaccessible. And the venting of the fixtures was totally inadequate. No pitch on drains... The only thing that was hard was building the shower curb. My husband

I only eat mayo in tuna. but I usually buy Hellmans. I'm not much of a sandwich person. Salad dressing just makes me gag. I know...weird.

This is all I really wanted for Christmas. And now it's done! (We actually finished it in Sept, I just forgot about the pictures). Before: We had already taken out the 3 ft fiberglass shower stall before I thought to take pictures. And I really wanted the tub out...it took up way too much space. If I want a bath, I just use the other bathroom. I love our huge new shower! After: We saved thousands by doing it all ourselves...and it was FUN. Well, mostly. I do have a permanent scar from a piece of copper pipe that jumped up and bit my ankle.

Ditto. I also do most all my Christmas shopping online. And Amazon is my favorite! I've always considered it among the most secure sites....but thieves and scammers come out of the woodwork especially this time of year. I'll be extra careful.

Oh, for Pete's sake... I can't believe that HUNDREDS of people tune into GMA when their kids are in the room. WTH is wrong with parents today? There's a GAY weatherman on that show don't you know? He even had his "fiance" on there once and he was a man too!!! And everyone knows that George guy is a liberal! I read somewhere on the internet (so it must be true) that Robin Roberts is really a (gasp!) MUSLIM! (Boy, I really feel like I "fit in" now)

The decorated shopping cart (ummm....buggy) was a wonderful touch!

New bumper sticker . I think it just might sell.

[ Brace yourselves for the onslaught of UTube videos of parents torturing their little ones by telling them "No more Hostess Twinkies!!!" and filming the little tots crying uncontrollably.
-
I saw on the news that there are 13 ingredients in Twinkies and one of them is an ingredient used in hair gel. Never cared for Twinkies or those cupcakes with the swirl on top. Except when I was pregnant - I would go through boxes of them for some reason. I do like those little coffee cakes though but I'm sure they will be all gone before I feel like trekking to the store again. I never had that stuff as a kid...the only time we had dessert was when we had company.

You could always use a tile cutter like this: 20.00 @ H.D. 4" ceramic tile is not that hard to score and snap. We did our kitchen backsplash with one of these. With larger, thicker tile or stone tile you would definitely need a wet saw.

If I was going to pay for a customized plate frame I think I would have chosen stronger language. Just sayin'

While I couldn't care less about the potential loss of Twinkies (hate them.....Tastycakes are soooo much better) it seems that yet another childhood staple is now being manipulated to meet the demand for legal drugs to keep us all going. The makers of Cracker Jack are adding a little more pop to their candy-coated popcorn. Frito-Lay will introduce Cracker Jack'D Power Bites caffeinated snacks later this year. The jacked-up munchies will come in two flavors -- vanilla mocha and cocoa java -- and "will contain approximately 70 mg of caffeine in each 2 oz. package" by adding coffee to th
