Seriously. It's great that she knew what to do. The first thing I thought of was "What if it had been a teenager who just started driving?" I hope that this is a reminder to parents of new drivers to stress what to do in a situation like this.

I immediately thought of Rosanne Rosaannadanna!

I wonder if she gets as weary of the jackie O comparison as I do? Seriously. Like asses have anything to do with politics. Rude comments about someone's appearance are just crude...no getting around it. -
Wow...so they were not related to the victim. The first reports sounded a little like they may have been. It made me remember a murder across the street from my house when we lived in FL for a bit. The wife and daughter decided to kill the husband/father because he didn't do anything except go to work, come home and watch TV. And they said he was grouchy. Apparently they tried several times. Even confessed to putting LSD and other drugs in his food. But the drugs only made him laugh. When they decided to shoot him they tried to make it look like suicide. Except they put the g

I know! Dysfunctional Family Christmas Stories are the best. Hey you. Been way too long. Merry Christmas!

Number one: Nat King Cole Please Come home For Christmas And Silver Bells... "It's Christmastime in the city" just brings back a lot of memories

Still one of the funniest Christmas stories ever. As a joke, my brother used to hang a pair of panty hose over his fireplace before Christmas. He said all he wanted was for Santa to fill them. What they say about Santa checking the list twice must be true because every Christmas morning, although Jay's kids' stockings were overflowing, his poor pantyhose hung sadly empty. One year I decided to make his dream come true. I put on sunglasses and went in search of an inflatable love doll. They don't sell those things at Walmart. I had to go to an adult bookstore downtown. If you've never b

I am always shocked at the number of women I see in the grocery store who leave their purse in the cart and walk 10-15 feet away to get something off a shelf. Not just sitting there,; but sometimes sitting there wide open. It would take a thief 2 seconds to reach in and grab a wallet. Yesterday I saw this very thing and mentioned it to the woman and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. Oh well. Good advice about being aware of one's surroundings and who is near. I've found that adopting a "don't mess with me" attitude (it's in the way you carry yourself) works well. I may l

I know, right? "It's a family store!"

A friend of mine (who is still a music writer/producer in Nashville) played an Etta record for me way back when. He told me then: Everyone is born with a heart, but this is proof that not everyone is born with a soul. Singing like that can only come from the soul.

Now those are some lights that should be left up all year long! Sing it: Jingle bells, shotgun shells Come on you robber scum Kick in our door and you'll get more than buckshot up yer bum!

EAVESDROPPING!!! Isn't that the same charge they use when someone plants a video camera in your own home and tapes you without your knowledge or consent? Seems to me I've read about a few of those cases. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. But then again; nothing much does anymore.

What's your favorite TV show of the 90's and 2000's?

Arrested Development. Hilarious, irreverent, off the wall. My kind of show. -
I have to admit....I'm a sap for these type commercials this time of year. And I miss the Publix Thanksgiving ones with the little Pilgrim family of salt and pepper shakers. Where did they go? They were so cute! I have a set of them on my kitchen table right now.

A GOOGLE doodle for Thanksgiving... http://g.co/doodle/ab23hc Click on the turkey's head and feet to change him. Click on his wing to make him go crazy. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I'm a good shot! But I don't think the neighbors would appreciate that. LOL Come over with a cage ...you can have all the squirrels you can catch. Well that's just downright scarey. And strange.

Besides stealing all the bird feed, they are now confiscating my dog's bones from the yard! Ugh! Fuzzy rats.

Jimmy Fallon did a funny spoof of the song "Baby, Baby" titled appropriately enough "It's Not My Baby Baby". I won't post the video here because, well, it's not really Pg material and it would probably get this topic moved. Google search Jimmy Fallon on Bieber if you want to see the video.

Oh, so cute at that age. They're just fascinated by everything. Running to change the channel!

Oh man! That's just wrong. WalMart bags are so cheesy. I remember about 15 years ago when our neighborhood was THAT neighborhood where the kids got trucked in. So glad they built more subdivisions since then. (/sarcasm)

Ummm.....yeah. Hence the "researched online " reference. Thanks! That's what I was looking for. I definitely would like to know who NOT to use. I found a few mobile marine repair places but they only do motor and hull repairs, not replacing carpet. Help appreciated. I will call, thanks. I'm starting to think that it may not be worth it. I'm sure that it could be replaced by my husband (he's talked about doing it) but it sounds so labor intensive that I thought I could get it done for him. Tearing out the old carpet (boat is older) getting all the old glue off, and rep

Seeking help from fishermen out there. Is there a local person / company that would replace all the carpeting on a Ranger bass boat without bringing the boat to them? It needs to be a surprise. I've researched a little online and I see that there are kits for specific boats but I couldn't find the right one. Also I'm thinking that the pre-cut kits are a little pricey. I also saw recommendations that boat carpet be replaced every 5-6 years or so! Any and all help / suggestions appreciated.
