IKR. I wish they wouldn't do that at the end of a video. Aw, thanks. Did you happen to notice my excellent grammatical skills also? The nuns would be so proud! On second thought- maybe not so much.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dvWpNdBZCs Disclaimer: This was not meant to be an controversial topic regarding the pros/cons of owning a pitbull, nor a slam on people who may need to exercise. If you find a reason to be offended at this post; you do so at the risk of looking really, really ridiculous.

Holy crap. What happened in here? How did I manage to start a controversial topic?....that hasn't happened in ages!

He played Johnny Gavin on "Rescue Me". Loved that show.

People who like to "forum-fight" with strangers on the internet.

Maybe you should think about renaming your new ride. How about calling "her" Lizzie Borden?

So I'll be the first to admit that I used to do this quite often. In all honesty, I was sometimes a driver with a bad attitude....everyone else on the road was an idiot. But I've mellowed. And people are meaner. They're still idiots on the road but now they are likely to follow you home and shoot you. So I don't flip people off any more. But I do give people the "thumbs up" sign. Like "Hey, good job pulling out in front of me and stopping, you jerk!" And "Good job almost rear ending me....maybe you should get off your dang cell phone." Today some guy pulled into a gas st

People behind you in line "brushing" against you. Gross body noises in the next aisle.

Does she resemble Tori Spelling?

I'll start. Tori Spelling. Oh, and frozen pot pies.

No, no. You heard it wrong. It's "Someone left to make out in the rain".

What do you know about your fellow p.commers? I know nothing!

That's so funny! I can't begin to remember how many people have argued about those lyrics. From Wikipedia: Lyrics The Earth Band's recording of the song features several changed lyrics. The most prominent change is in the chorus, where Springsteen's "cut loose like a deuce" is replaced with "revved up like a deuce."[2][3][4] This is commonly misheard as "wrapped up like a douche (the V sound in "revved" is almost unpronounced and the S sound in "deuce" is easy to mistake as an "SH" sound)." Springsteen himself has joked about the controversy, claiming that it was not until Manfred

Yes, we got there pretty early. I had no idea what to expect; we stopped by about 11:30 a.m.to buy balls to get signed but when I saw all the cars in the lot and the line was already halfway around the store we just stayed and got a place in line. Sorry you didn't get to see them - it was a little crazy. Over 600 people is my guesstimate. But my grandson has been through some tough things lately so I was so happy to do this for him. We were pretty far back in line and just made the cutoff by about 50 people. We did get a picture with Homer too, just in case we didn't make it to the front.

Yes, you missed it. But I didn't. I am not fond of crowds or standing in line, but I braved ( ) both yesterday to get my grandson autographs from some of his favorite Braves players. It was held at Academy Sports in Hiram and it was crazy, but got the autographs. Kudos to Academy and the Braves organization for this community effort. And while I'm handing out kudos; let me hand out a few major "fail" marks to those fans that left their garbage behind them on store shelves presumably for someone to pick up after them. Seriously folks. Most stores have a "No Food or Dri

Very funny! This was one of my favorites....I may have to get it on a tee shirt:

OMG. I am watching the first season of this show on dvd and I am hooked. I'm so glad the weather is going to be crappy tomorrow so I can finish the first season. It's like a great murder mystery novel except I don't have to find my reading glasses. I don't know how I miss these shows on TV when they first come on the air...I really must pay better attention. Any other fans of this show?

Lollygagging is a word that always made me giggle. And now that I am an adult I don't get in trouble for it.

Elizabeth Taylor and Maureen O'Hara have my vote for the "older" movie actresses. "Giant" and "A Place in the Sun" are two of my favorite movies. If you look up A Place in the Sun you will see how "risque" the book and movie were for that time. I have liked Amy Adams since seeing her in "Doubt" "The Fighter" and "Sunshine Cleaning". I think she's got terrific comedic timing. I just watched her in "Trouble With the Curve" and I think she's great. I can see an actor in a completely terrible movie and still love them in another movie with perhaps a better director (and story). I really d

I have had some good luck finding things at Fabou. They have a place in Austell and one in Carrolton. Just go on craigslist and click on "furniture" under the for sale ads. Then type in "fabou"under the search for at the top. They always post pictures so you can preview and if the items have been there for awhile, they will usually go down on the price (you have to ask). They have a lot more than what they advertise also. At the bottom of the ad there are the addresses and directions for each place. Happy hunting.

We can see it now...

I was very moved when Heart did Stairway to Heaven with Jason on the drums. When the backdrop goes up and the singers are all wearing the bowler hats I almost cried. here's the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uXdH_AIsrE Feelip and Surepip, we are (ahem) around the same age. I saw Zeppelin 2x at the Garden in the early 70's. Still one of the most memorable I've ever seen. Good times.

Kicking myself. Watching clips of the recent 35th Kennedy Center Honors online and wishing I hadn't missed it. No rebroadcast as far as I can tell. My husband is a huge Jimmy Page fan. Foo Fighters did "Rock and Roll" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vic34JnYf1c

I had a HUGE disagreement with my MIL a few years ago when she had a knee operation. Driving her from a dr's appointment we stopped at the Post Office to mail some letters. She insisted (several times) that I park in the HC spot because she "had a handicapped tag" evn though I was the one going in. That's the first and only time I ever told her to just shut up. It wasn't pretty. I always park pretty far away from stores because I like to leave the closer spaces for those that need them. Unless it's dark and scary out.

Purty! You know I worked for both Whirlpool and G.E. for many years and when I replaced our refrigerator a few years ago it was a toss-up between the two. I finally decided on a GE stainless steel and it has been great. (crossing fingers) Word of advice: those cabinet doors next to the fridge- might want to cover the knobs. If the door hits the stainless...scratches don't come out easy. HD used to carry an awesome stainless steel cleaner. The stainless is a bear to keep clean, but it looks great.
