"OMG...I'm melting!"

Oh gosh... Is it that obvious?

Yes, she'd butter!

This fabric? I'm trying to do over a bathroom in these colors (dark cabinets and green walls) and I found this fabric on an ipod cover on line. But I can't find the fabric anywhere. I really like it. It's fun, abstract and colorful and I would really like to make a roman shade for a window with it. I've searched all the fabric places and can't find it. It looks kind of like this Kaufman fabric, but I don't want the dark background.

Is "Vagina" a Word That Merits an "Offensive" Label?
Bizmo replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is actually hilarious if you think about how, if they did a search of all the computers in Washington D.C, they would probably find another word referring to the same female anatomy typed many, many times. And I'd bet most of them were in reference to the current U.S. SOS. I'm not a Hillary fan or anything....just sayin' -
Wow. It looks like all the "anti-bullying" programs they have in school now are really working. Sarcasm intended. Maybe the money would be better spent elsewhere...like making attendance at a "Scared Straight" program mandatory for any kid caught acting like this at school or on school property. Give them an idea of what it really feels like to be bullied. Teach them something they are obviously not learning. No excuses. That poor lady had a lot more restraint then I would have had. This just made me laugh really loud.

We found a flier that had come with one of our Gas South bills for discount tickets. I had to call Ticketmaster because the online site still would not work for me, but I got four terrace level tickets for less than half price. The people at Ticketmaster went out of their way to get me that discount...I think it's an online only thing. He's going to be so happy. And I think that this is a special birthday anyway...last one before the teenage years.

You know, that might actually be a good option, thanks Nitro. I have to start prying info about what he wants for his birthday months in advance with this kid...he never asks for anything. This is a (soon be 12 yr. old) kid who most always gets all A's in school, is polite and thoughtful, loves his family and who will hold doors open for people for so long when we go to a store to the point where I have to sheepishly explain that no, he does not have aspirations of becoming a hotel doorman. He's a great kid. ***shut-up now grandma*** We were talking the other day about a few y

I know, right? I ate dinner and cleaned up while I was waiting, but I did give up. My husband is going to Publix tomorrow but the online site is through ticketmaster also. Maybe they had a internet copper cable theft.

Is the online site to buy and print tickets always this slow? I have been waiting an hour for it to process my request. I'm trying to get 3 or 4 tickets for the July 3 home game...my grandsons birthday is the 4th of July. Anybody got some they want to sell? LOL I bet I could get them faster than the braves site.

I envy you! Been looking to buy in the Port St Joe area but so far - no luck. Some info on Pensacola - start here: http://www.co.escambia.fl.us/Links.html School system: http://www.escambia.k12.fl.us/Master/index.asp Enjoy!

I just flashed to that commercial: "In my day we couldn't just move the TV all willy-nilly all over the place"

OK, Crafters, Spill The Beads, What Are You Making Or Want To Make?

The birdbaths and planters are amazing! I've been dabbling in acrylic on canvas. I always loved to draw and it makes me happy. I do better with abstract than I do with "real" subjects though. I can't do people or animals at all. I can however draw a mean cartoon! This is a copy of a sort of "pop art" poster on canvas that I did for someone who is into that. If you look closely, Buddha seems to bear an uncanny resemblance to Marlon Brando in The Godfather. -
OMG. I thought Tom and Katie were letting their kid talk to perfect strangers on the phone.

I knew a guy in high school who had a Dodge Power wagon. Except it was closed in...like a panel truck with no windows in back. Great for sneaking extra people into the drive-in. I don't remember what year it was though......old.

Sigh. As long as you don't come inside and sweat it out all over my couch. Oh, sorry. You sounded JUST like someone I know. LOL

I was joking ....sort of. Although I did turn the a/c on briefly in my car this afternoon. I had to clear my head. Made the HUGE mistake of popping into WallyWorld in Hiram for a few minutes. Good Grief! I was not aware that so many people viewed deodorant as a "summer only" necessity.

Guilty but mentally ill. He will still do prison time, but will get treatment for his mental problems. I don't get it (the verdict), but then again I seldom do.

His wife thinks he's faking the mental illness thing. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-501363_162-57398092/ga-murder-suspects-wife-doubts-husbands-claims/ Imagine that. Speaking of....I wonder why she was not called to testify for the prosecution. Maybe it would have been like sour grapes to the jury?

I can't wait for Winter to get here!

I understand the disagreement about the flag at half staff thing, I really do. But if NJ wants to lower the flag...whatever. Individual state rights and all that. I do find myself baffled by some of the venomous statements I have seen posted on some sites though. There sure are some rabid Whitney haters out there. And they sure are colorful about expressing it online. Sure, Whitney Houston did drugs...and she hooked up with Bobby Brown...and she probably did a whole lot of other things people might not approve of. But you know - it was her life. And in the end it's most likely that th

I go that way all the time. I've lived in a lot of places where they are taking these "traffic circles" out after years of traffic problems / accidents. It also requires an understanding of the sign that says: which I'm convinced that the majority of drivers ignore because they think it means "yellow" in German.

And what a year it was... (speakers on) I'm not really big on New Year celebrations....after all, it's just a calendar, right? And according to U2 "Nothing changes on New Year's Day". But I'm old enough to be nostalgic for years past and still young enough to be excited about tomorrow. And I'm really looking forward to 2012. Happy New Year to all!
