go take the class at Home Depot. As small as your kitchen is - this really is a good project for you to do. The hardest part is making sure that you have enough stiffness under the floor and then finding the visual center of the room. But, once you get to laying the tile - it's easy. Rent a wet saw from home depot (makes life soooo much easier).

Okay - I'm on the hunt. I saw a sign on ebay - cut into a shape - that was then rusted on the surface. It looked to have been cut with a plasma cutter as it had the rolled edge that is indicative of a plasma cutter. I've got the pattern, I've got someone to cut it. But, I can't find the steel plate. I need it to be about 15" square and, I think, about 1/8" thick. Would anyone happen to have one laying around - it's for a Boy Scout project. Let me know, please.

We just changed to Dr. Saade. Really like him - he came very, very highly recommended by several families that use him.

I understand non-government workers' opinion that if they have to pay - everyone has to pay. But, the fact is that we have such a circular system of taxing someone - paying them with the same tax dollars and then recollecting those tax dollars again so that we can pay them again. Money laundrying at its best. We could eleminate a bulk of the revenue office if we eleminated the need to process the taxes paid (before the paycheck is cut) as well as during annual tax time. It would actually save us all alot of tax dollars (not that I think we'd see them in our pockets). It's not a craz

I like provino's quite a bit - d'ville or kennesaw.

Try googling the name of the dish. I discovered that alot of their recipes are online - I love the chicken scallopini and the balsamic chicken. Both of which are online - and I make it fairly frequently for the family. I really like them - had a wide variety of things I like. Anytime I'm near the airport, I make plans so that I can eat there. !

I was just out between Hiram Sudie and Brownsville - Hiram Sudie has some spots that have some slick potential - where the trees hang over and the road doesn't get any sun. Otherwise, the trip was uneventful. It's like anything - be careful, slow down, and take your time. We'll be headed out to church for Scout Sunday tomorrow. Maybe have to get a paper. That's about it for us. Alot to do at home.

This should be interesting. We're supposed to be taking our boy scouts to Augusta to camp and tour the nuclear plant. The weather's going to be fine out there. It's just a matter of whether or not we can get out of the city. Cross your fingers. It's taken MONTHS to get this set up because of working with the PR office at the plant. -
Oh, the millitary will SOOOO make him pay. Start documenting - keep everything in hard copy - get a good lawyer. The military will start garnishing wages, he may even get knocked down a rank. This is something that is HEAVILY frowned upon.

Yea, Jamie Dupree said that Congress cancelled their "global warming" summit meetings today. ! Sean Hannity had a good point - as long as DC is under snow - they won't be taking any more money from us. -

Well, this should be interesting. We're camping in Augusta this weekend. Off to check weather.com to see what Augusta's weather is going to be. We'll go no matter the weather - been planning this trip for a long time and got some tours, etc. set up that can't be easily changed. But, UGH!!! Back from weather.com - we're good - 50s during the day, 30s at night. We'll be good. After camping in 2 degree weather last month, this will be down right balmy. -
I want to know too - think I"m going to sign up for boot camp.

I've had dinner there two nights in the last week - once for my dad's birthday and once with my girlfriends. The service was wonderful. The food was wonderful. For Dad's birthday, we went during their 1/2 price hours. They make a shrimp soup that is to die for. Amazing!!! And, their magaritas are SOOOOOo good.

Yep - she agreed to it - I heard her. And, she's taken on some other really large scouting challenges.

So what hair stylist makes you beautiful when they are done?

Lori at Souther Glitz - across the street from the Hiram Animal Clinic. We know her from boy scouts. She does a great job with mine (she read my mind today - couldn't tell her what to do - could just vaguely describe it). Plus, she can cut oldest's horse shoe flat top correctly and youngest gets his shaggy do as well. WE love her. -
I've been a Girl Scout since I was four and I currently run a local Boy Scout unit. Let me start off by saying that there are significant differences between the two. My Girl Scout experience is from MD, but I am willing assume that the general concepts are the same. 1. Girl Scout councils do not typically have a large annual donation campaign, nor do they do the other typical fundraisers (golf tournaments, clay shooting, etc) that other service organization do. Therefore, the council is EXTREMELY dependant upon their cookie sales to cover council wide expenses like the ones listed abo

I've got chocolate triple delight. Would you like some? I also have quite a bit of other types of Boy Scout popcorn. We had some issues with the district not transfering the leftovers around and we're trying to get rid of it now. Just PM me. I'll be happy to let you know what I've got and when I can meet you. You'd really be helping out my troop.

Love the red socks on the little one. Soooooo cute!!

I will tell you this - apply for school choice under house bill 251. There are truly so few students and parents that will apply for it that more than likely, the students that will apply will actually get in. I don't know where these kids are going. If they are going to Paulding and South has passed AYP, then they'll probably be able to school choice back no matter what. There are options. BTW, heard that y'all's redistricting meeting was a BLAST!!

Anyone attend a redistricting meeting tonight?
mhparker92 replied to EagleWings's topic in RECENT TOPICS
All I want to know if how to school choice into high school. There's no fighting the redistricting. It's got to be done and they are doing it as equitably as possible. The fact is there's no way to make everyone (or even anyone) happy about it. It just sucks. But, I would like to find out how to school choice under the house bill that passed last year. Or not passing AYP. Or if we have any "unsafe schools" that are high schools in this county. Just looking into the options at this point. -
I would suggest a new doc. We've been in your boat for a while. There's no reason that a general practitioner can't prescribe what you're taking. This guy just doesn't want to. I'd find a new general practitioner. Other than that, no advice. Our general and ortho are handling the situation - after a year, no one has ever mentioned going to a pain management clinic.

Lumak - get in touch with me - you should know how. My mom just started this in December. Probably from the same doc. They told her 6-12 months to see improvement. Her lung issues were better in about 5 days. The first day was rough - flu like symptoms. But, after that - she was better than she's been in years.

Both of my boys are late birthdays. Oldest is a 9/1 baby and is usually the youngest one in his class. Our plan was always to do private pre-k, public pre-k, then kindergarten - that would push them back to being the oldest in the class. We couldn't get him into public pre-k and we were advised to go ahead and put him into kindergarten that we could just hold him back if we needed to. Fast forward to the end of the year - he was ready at a 2nd grade level and doing great academically. He, even after 8 years, still has some maturity issues because he is alot younger. But, we just warn the
