I have no clue. but, he likes it - and it's just hair. It does provide me with a great motivational tool - the threat of a hair cut. I did draw the line when he wanted me to flat iron it.

Growing it out is AWFUL!! Mine has soo much hair and it wants to stand up. It was awful. Lindsey was the first one to really listen and realize that the solution wasn't to keep thinning it so that he was constantly growing out the layers, but to quit layering it. She thins the underside, but she leaves the part that shows alone - vwahlay- no more rooster in the morning. We saw her last night at dinner. She was teasing him about his post soccer camp hair. It was very cute. She wanted to know what the heck he was doing to her hair cut.

That's my kid - it's this constant head twitch. I keep teasing him that I'm going to buy him a soccer bow to pull his hair out of his eyes. But, I hate to admit it - but he's really cute with it.

Lindsey at Great Clips on Ridge Road. My youngest is growing his into that hair style. She's done a great job of getting him there while keeping my sanity. She's great with kids - understanding what they want - explaining to them so they understand why they can't have what they want sometimes. Oldest, who is EXTREMELY picking about who touches his hair, has her cut his hair now. I know about 10 kids that go to her and all of them look great.

We use a trac phon when the boys are new to cell service. Let's them practice without us paying a fortune. At $10 phone ...we get 120 minutes for $30 about every 2 months. I've been amazed at how many places that nothing else work - the trac phone works. We actually have started carrying it on backpacking trips etc as a back up communications. See who is the carrier behind it - most of them are a low cost offering of a major company. That will give you a good idea of what the service area is like. Good luck. I think you're part of the wave of the future.

Kim - please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think that teacher work days and half days for conferences extend the school year. I believe that they are planned such that those still count as a day in school. I think they have to go a minimum number of hours to be considered a day. As for conference week - yes, most teachers have four full days of booked conferences. On Friday, it's been my experience that they are let go early to make up for days that they are required to work a longer day. And, quite frankly, who doesn't love getting off early on a Friday every now and then (twice

That would be fine with me. ! I do like a longer break at Christmas - if we go to see family - it's quite the haul for us. But I can make do if we made those changes.

Ditto!!!! Know him well.

I for one like going back to school in August. I grew up in a school district with similiar summers and we started after Labor Day. It was miserable the last three weeks of summer. It was too hot to do anything outside. Mom was grouchy because we couldn't/wouldn't go outside. We didn't get out until mid to late June (depending on the snow - one year we got out on July 3). I hated it. Here - we get out at Memorial Day - we get to go places and do things before they get crowded - and sometimes before the summer rates hit - and the kids are back in school before the heat and boredom sets i

Kim - Thanks for answering so quickly. I tried calling the county office this morning and only got voice mail. Today is kinda hectic for me with hubby and oldest going camping for two weeks in a different state. I knew that this would be the quickest way for you to get an answer. I told the individual that was asking that I really felt that this was a game of telephone and not a reality. To me, the logistics just don't work out. But, I wanted a clear answer very quickly. I don't know who the foreman is and neither does she. She didn't think to get his/her name.

I'm trying to debunk a rumor that I was told today. According to a reliable source, the bus foreman at the bus barn is telling parents that the school district is going to a four day school week. I don't think this is true unless something has change in the last few days. Cliff Cole told the stakeholders committee that he doesn't believe that is a good for students. And, I haven't found any discussion of such in the BOE minutes. I also don't see a reasonable logisticaly way of making this change in the next 10 business days before schools start. So, can anyone confirm or deny this

My oldest has this problem - he was a gymnast - 4% body fat, 40% for his height/weight and was, according to the BMI chart, that he was obese. This is why my ped completely disregarded the BMI chart. She said that it's really not accurate. Me, on the other hand, it's completely right - I am obese.

The thrift store in dallas - next to old movie theater - next door to Sports a Rama takes donations for the store and for the lady's shelter. That's where I take everything now.

When I want to do something like this - we use the dutch oven and charcoal. Lots of great cobbler recipes on line - or pm me and I'll give you some. A dutch oven also works well on a grill - you've just got to be sure that you don't get too much heat underneath and enough on top - try heating up the lid of the dutch before putting it on.

try USAJOBS.gov - it's the place where all federal jobs are listed.

A jewler told me that they always try windex. Everytime I've tried it - it's worked, plus it cleans your rings.

After this game ends (it will eventually, right?), we're having steak and swiss chard salads with feta cheese. I saw the recipe on foodtv.com. With the way Mom's garden is producing, we're going to have a very adventurous culinary summer of eating!! Loving the Netherland's keeper, though, loved that punch just now!!

I'll be there tomorrow morning. !

Three would be nice - I'd take my boys sometime in the next two weeks when they are both actually home at the same time. ! Thanks.

I'm glad to know that you found Dr. White. He is AWESOME!! He did the surgery on my youngest's sinuses. He was a miracle worker. He also did all the surgeries on my ped's kids. When we saw him, my husband asked him if the surgery would solve our son's problems - he said "No, I can solve the air in/snot out problem. The allergies are Hurwitz' problem." He's very upfront and quite funny. My son told him - you do it wrong. Dr. White does his exam's in the opposite order of our ped. Dr. White said, "Well, then, how should I be doing this?" He is amazing. I knew he left the Children's

If you don't want to bring a picinic basket with you - the Boy Scouts will be there cooking dinner - hamburgers, hot dogs, snow cones, etc. It'll be a great evening. -
Does anyone know about the place in AL? It was posted here, but I can't find it now. Was thinking about taking my mom over there.

This young man was a great scout as well - he was in a friend's unit. So said, scouting has lost two soliders in the last week. Our hearts are heavy. But, we are so thankful for their service. It just breaks my heart to look at the young men in my unit and realize that in six years this could be one or more of them. We have three young men at this point that are looking at the military after high school/college. It could easily be one of them. Very hard to come to grips with.

I think you have to have special paint for the laminate. I've been working on mine for a while - I have MDF cabinet doors - they are the devil. The boxes are good - but the doors SUCK. I maybe giving up and getting new doors and drawer fronts.
