I have a new keyboard that sounds like I have long nails. It'll be broken in in about two weeks. Just be patient. I should stop bothering you in a little while. Love my new keyboard - it's got that curve shape to it - alot easier on the hands. It was on clearance at Target a couple of weeks ago.

I learned this in a leadership class - Change is inevitable. Leading change makes it positive. Take the bull by the horns and market yourself as best you can. You'll do great. Don't be scared of change - embrace it. It's a great ride.

Change in plans - the sick kid wants sushi - so, when oldest gets home, we'll go get sick kid's medicine and stop at Fuji on the way home. We won't get the good lunch deals, but he will feel better after a bowl of their miso soup!!

As far as I know, the smell issues has been resolved on eeverything but LGs. I could be wrong. We had a smell issue once - a sock had gotten down into the door seal - the white sock was black. Got that out - no more smell. ! I love my set.

Hubby's not home tonight - thats what we're having!!! Youngest is sick - he'll probably have chicken noodle soup. Quick, easy, little clean up - my kind of meal!! We had brown beans and cornbread last night - I think we were a day early on the cornbread.

Get a front loading system - alot less water and alot less time. Our water bill dropped by 30% when we got our front loaders. The clothes are alot cleaner and we love them!!! We tend towards Maytag appliances - have had really good luck with them and they've always held up alot longer than predicted. We like Home Depot Outlet to get appliances. If they have it, they are usually at really good prices. We got the washer and dryer (front loading) for less than what the washer cost at the regular Home Depot.

I have to agree with navy Eagle - I think that a PC is a better buy because it's alot easier to get help, parts, etc. than a Mac. There's also alot more available for a PC. I really think that alot of the mac benefits comes from the fact that it isn't the dominant technology and therefore there isn't as much demand to do damage (viruses, spyware, etc.). It does have superior graphic technology - but unless that's what you're after, I would get a mid grade PC. I'm buying a new computer within the next month - it's going to be a refurbished dual core PC - not the latest and greatest, but not

The first thing in my mind as I read - I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart (WHERE) Down in my heart (WHERE) Down in my heart. I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart (where) Down in my heart to stay. Amen - and thank goodness. My mom has kidney disease. And, somehow, she has had improved kidney function after the docs have said no way - they've just started scratching their heads now with some of her test results. HURRAY!

Try www.usajobs.gov. It's the federal employment site. With his background in college, etc., there just might be something there for him. It's not an easy site to navigate and put in location parameters much larger than you think you want - they are often mislabeled.

It’s a Fork, It’s a Spoon, It’s a ... Weapon?

This is why I remind my son every Monday morning about taking his pocket knife out of his pocket after the weekend of scouting. He carries one when he isn't in school. But, I very clearly explained to him what the process and punishment would be if he forgot ONE time. I hate it for this kid - and I hope it doesn't spoil him on scouting. But, if the rules have no leeway, there's nothing that the principal can do. Hopefully the school board has the sense and the legal leeway to make a different decision. And, I'm very glad that mom is homeschooling this kid instead of sending him to a -
Cleaned and organized today - just putting stuff away where it belongs. We've been Scouting sooooo much the last month and have another month - month and half of intense scouting - until Thanksgiving. This was supposed to be a free weekend for us - one soccer game and oldest's catechism class. But, hubby had to go with the troop so they would have a second adult - oldest went with him. Youngest got an invite to spend the night with a friend. Then, yesterday, my computer and my roomba tried to commit suicide. The computer may have been successful. The roomba wasn't. Put this on top

Yes, he does. All of these (except the croup) appear to be immune system issues - wonder if the propensity for croup is somehow an immune system problem.

My brother at 32 still deals with croup. And, he has IBS - wonder if there is any coorelation?

You can get one from your Congressman for about $15 - it's the cheapest deal around - takes about 6 weeks to get here. If someone can get me the flag, I can have it properly retired by vets and scouts - we will be doing a large flag retirement ceremony the first weekend in November.

Have they talked about PT for the calf muscles? Oldest had that issue - he's a toe walker and his calves had gotten so strong that they were pulling his ankle joint out of place. Daniel at PT solutions (above the immediate care) worked with him for a couple of months to get those muscles stretched out and working together correctly. Oldest still does some of the exercises a year later just as a maintenance item. They did exercises and Daniel would use pressure points to get things to release and relieve.

I'm sorry Lumak. Give soccer boy a big hug. I know that he didn't want to sit out the season. This is soooo painful. We had several gymnasts develop this as well.

Vaughn Chiropractic - E Paulding Dr and 92 - great guy - did wonders for my family and a friend's hubby when he was really, really out of whack.

If I get out to mom and dad's, I'll take some pics.

The technology will get there - I love my touchstone for my palm pre - just kinda toss it towards the device - it lines itself up and charges away. ! This is definitely a technology that I envision taking off in the next couple of years.

If someone had a cardiac arrest in your presence, what would you do?
mhparker92 replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I probably would too - but there is evidence that a higher pace of compressions and skipping the breathing actually produces better results. But, at the end of the day, doing something, in this case, is better than doing nothing. The biggest advantage to eleminating the rescue breathing is that more people are willing to do the compressions than the breathing. The rescue breathing adds benefit- but not as much as doing the compressions period. Kinda PR thing. -
That's us - most of us have been here almost 15 years now. We're all mostly transplants and we've had to learn to depend upon each other because most of us don't have family around. And, the pink house is now a very nice shade of green. And, the pink was really a band aid pink - not a pepto bismol pink. It was actually quite nice.

Learned this at CPR in December. Studies show that most people won't start CPR because of the mouth to mouth breathing. And, most people can't do mouth to mouth correctly and they spend too much time trying. When you do the compressions, you compress the lungs as well so basically there's still air transfer going on. -
Been there, done that, won't do it again!! Specifically moved into our neighborhood becuase a neighbor had a band aid pink house. Knew then that there was no HOA!! Loved every minute of it. Our neighbors all get along. There's no one causing trouble between us. Just life is good. And, guess what, we don't have half the problems that alot of HOA neighborhoods have.
