You're supposed to visit them?

We dropped it when they had the price hike/split simply because the movies were so old. Did that situation improve when the service split took place? We just started going with Redbox...

Ann is at a training seminar all day today learning some new techniques for the business but I am sure she will be thrilled to hear your response.... Ann tried and tried to get a picture of that shirt that showed how good it looked in person and just couldn't get it, the picture for sure doesn't do it justice. -
CLOSING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WILL COST YOU

Exactly why I love Lockheed Credit Union..... -
If I recall correctly you were referring to you and your kids in your post and how differing opinions were rude. I don't recall you mentioning anything about the OP. Sorry, I musta missed it!
-
And just because you were raised that way doesn't make anothers persons view rude or incorrect. I was brought up that if I invite someone then I don't expect reimbursement for that. The bottom line is that neither route is rude as long as the person extending the invitation explains their expectation on who pays when they initiate the invitation. It is as simple as saying "Hi Susan, we are going to the movies tomorrow, but we will eat here at the house, so your little Timmy would only need about $5 to $10 depending on if he wants anything from the snack bar, let us know if he can come alo

They were really hot on Dallas Hwy too. I saw five pulled over between John Ward Rd and Lost Mtn. It was crazy! ETA - It was Cobb pulling them over and this was about 6:30 or just after....

I bet if it was reported that the firefighters painted the road in front of the hospital there would be some REALLY good coverage....

If I invite someone to tag along with my kids then I don't ask for money. If they send it that is fine, but I don't expect it. I do try to remember to send money with my kids if they need it but sometimes I just completely forget. But if you don't want to pay, you should be telling them upfront when you invite them. I would have zero issues with someone saying, "I would like it if your son/daughter would accompany to us to XXX and they will need a few dollars for the entrance fee, do you think it would be ok if they went with us?"

It's great that you do have that in your current friendships but in regards to the bolded statement, in current times that is rarely the case. People confuse occassional acquantances with true friends.
-
I agree completely. I am married to the only person that fits that description for me. I see all these people who come to the subdivision pool that get pissed off when their kids ask them to watch them do something (because it interrupts their yacking and beer drinking) but I like my kids and my wife WAY more than any of those people so I prefer to hang out and goof off with them. The older I get the more I realized I don't really like people and they tend to move on when I don't want to get into the gossip and games.

If someone asked you to clean their house,
its mr sarcastic to you replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well alrighty then... Don't remember making a judgement about it or thinking negatively, rather just surprised at the fact. But if you buy them anything they need it makes sense, I just was wondering how you got by without giving them money. Now, maybe you need go take a nap and unwad those panties.... -

So your kids never need money for anything? Wow I am impressed! -

That's what I am thinking! I know it's not inside the house, but still leaving dog crap in the garage is just plain nasty.... There are plenty of pooper scoopers out there that require almost zero effort for anyone to use. -
Automotive question - F-150 with 20" tires

dumb question, why not? That is the most popular tire on trucks right now, I looked for almost six months finding an F150 Supercrew last year with the 20 inch wheels. -

I think the next one is 6/1

Why should you care at all? Unless the kid said he could swim and couldn't then I can see there being an issue, but um, I don't see the big deal and am completely perplexed why you would feel any confusion about it. It's pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things....

For my company it isn't the health care (dr visits, etc) costs that kill us, it's the prescriptions. We are max uprated EVERY year because of prescription costs. Mostly because several of the prescriptions don't have a generic or alternative available yet and the name brand is ridiculous. The drugs online through a Canadian pharmacy are about 30% of what it is here. Sad.

According to google it allows for shorter cooking times and preservation of some of the nutrients that might be diminished from longer cooking.
