  1. Or East Paulding, Downtown sounds goot to me!
  2. And you know what, a lot of my colleagues will probably talk trash about me but I do a damned good job and my boss agrees... Jealousy can create some interesting responses. Just sayin.... Better yet, give Pubby his number or LPPT or have him contact them so that they can get an "interview" Pitiful......
  3. Hey on the bright side at least it's giving a rest from the PCHS rants... Great minds....
  4. I pretty sure I recently saw a taxi service based in Dallas too, or is that gone now?
  5. Whut? All I do is mind my own bidness on here and you just come outta nowhar and threaten you are gonna hurt me! How is that a proper way to treat an innocent individual?
  6. Whar is that racey smiley when you need it....
  7. Do you know of a place to go ride electric dirt bikes? My son is 7 and has one of the Razor dirt bikes and while he has fun riding it in the cul de sac and up the street a bit I was hoping to find somewhere to take him like an open field. I would like to find a place where I can just sit in the middle of the area and let him ride around so that I can watch him. Obviously since it's electric it won't do any real damage to anything or be able to handle any serious terrain, just something wide open or with a good site line for me to watch him. Any suggestions?
  8. Lowrider and Lady Raider but considering putting Lucky on there too out of principal....
  9. ok, the woman is no Julie Chen and is getting on my nerves a bit.... Not so sure about this show yet. But I'm going to keep watching and hoping!
  10. I agree! Commuter Bus = Beneficial Public Transit = The whole area around the CCT bus station on Fairground :shivers:
  11. I would have a very hard time paying what Verizon wants for their service. Every time I am up for a renewal I price everyone out and Verizon is always ridiculously high in comparison. I am with ATT and never get dropped calls or poor service so I don't buy into the "But they are worth the price hype..." Guess I just don't go in those odd areas where people benefit from their network.
  12. I am a reality tv junkie, so yes, I am going to give it a shot!
  13. That is correct, but they usually have a small "contact us" sign on the window near the front door. Most have a way to point to is responsible for the property.
  14. Mine must be potential felon's then because they have a tv, uverse and a Roku! But seriously, if you do it right, I get your concept. BUT most parents spend WAY more on their kids a month than $7 with the I "wants" and at least this way I have a way to control their spending and let them make decisions about what they want the most while thinking about something else they want and weighing the decision. Most parents I see with the "hell no allowance" attitude don't think about how much they actually give thier kids in a month and would find it cheaper to go by giving them a set amount
  15. I know my way is WAY better than yours but that's what makes the world go 'round! Different strokes!
  16. We do give our kids a certain amount of money a month, not for anything in particular but it is a way of teaching them about money, budgeting and saving. We call it an allowance for lack of a better word, but they only get $7 a month (ages 7 and 9). I find it more of a teaching tool then those who say "Hell naw, I ain't payin my kid to help around the house!" you know who you are! I find the method or just giving them money as the parent decides it's needed does nothing to teach them about handling money responsibly. Oh and the teen gets a cell phone and is not entitled to any allow
  17. I don't know if that is true but there should be a sign on the house of who to contact with complaints, they might be able to help you. But they are so swamped they might not be the most friendly people in the world....
  18. I have to give it to you, just when I didn't think you could make a dumber statement thar you go again....
  19. Unfortunately not, tried that but the rep said once I went to Uverse they wouldn't reconnect to DSL. It was irritating to hear, but ok, because I like the speed of Uverse better.
  20. Duh, the people they are calling to see if they can go to their house to play cuz I said no they can't come here!
  21. I have actually been thinking about letting the service terminate and see if they do that as well. I had Directv before and liked them so I would be good with Uverse TV or Directv.
  22. Did you have any issues with data usage exceeding the 250gb? We are out of our agreement with Uverse and have given our kids the option of getting a receiver in their room or a Roku and two of the three want the Roku. Mostly they will be playing Pandora or Netflix but we also do have a Amazon Prime membership and Hulu. So I am trying to figure out before I drop their receivers if others have had an issue with data usage. Other than the streaming we are VERY low data users. VERY low. Heck even on our cell phones we only have the 300mb data plan and have never went above that. I know a f
