I got egged when I was 14-walking to my boyfriends house. I was wearing my BRAND NEW JACKET too!!!My boyfriend beat the snot outta the kids who did it-other boys in his neighborhood! I thought that was so cool (well, I was 14!) I went out with him for the longest time-such puppy love.

Our old tractor won't start, and we need to take it to someone in Carrolloton. They want as much to transport the thing than it will cost to fix it! We would need to bring it over there, and then pick it up when they are done.Anyone out there who could help us out? I'd be happy to do the neighborly thing in return, and make you a big old pot of chili in return ( maybe with venison if you like it!) Bread and dessert included. Any of you single gentlemen with a trailer interested in a home cooked meal? Thanks in advance for the help-we're just stuck for what to do-we generally take the local kid

what problems are you having ?-maybe we can help

Please consider calling me when the puppies are old enough to re-home. I have been looking for a Lab for my grandson for the last year. His best friend "petey" had to be put down over 4 years ago (he was paralyzed for the neck down), and it's taken him a long time to get over it. They were born within 2 months of each other, and were inseperable! It has been a long hard adjustment for him, and he still cries at night sometimes. He is ready now to love another "best friend", and has decided on a lab or retriever. I understand that papered dogs come with a price tag, but we very much want to g

Grandpa, or I stood with my grandson from K thru 2nd. By 3rd, he was embarassed to have me out there, but the stop was just at the corner, so I kept an eye on him. This year, 4th, he goes by himself to the corner, but we do not let him leave till 5 min. before the bus comes-no need to be out there in the dark and cold any longer than that. If it rains, grandpa takes him and waits with him in the truck. I believe in a progression of responsibility, but there is no need to tempt fate to take a wrong turn.I am sure that by next year, he will not want us around the bus stop at all, and middle

I saw a sign outside of new Georgia Elem-school closed on Nov. 1st-so expect late coming trick or treaters. I'm going to be home for the 1st time in a while-the grandson is old enough to go with his friends by themselver-horray! I miss seeing all the kids come to my door.

I'm almost there-this weekends yard sale at the Georgian yeilded a black suit, belt, and shoes ( a friend is going to to do the alterations) I already have a "Blue tooth" and a clip hip holster for a 9MM(we've got a fake gun of coarse!), and a white shirt. All I need is a solid black tie, and really dark black sunglasses. I've got some hair gel stuff to make that " helmet hair" look they seem to do. This boy is not one for silly or colorful costumes-he's been a police officer, and a soldier for the past two years, and it looks as if he is considering a "S.W.A.T." team theme for next year-HHHM

Thank you Pubby, for elaborating on that perculiar response! I am often at a loss to understand some of the dribble that happens in life, but that explains it all. No wonder they (prisoners) come out so much worse than they go in!

Is there some problem with being articulate? When you've been around long enough you see the results of mistakes being made, and when those mistakes involve our younger generation, we all suffer.

It seems as if someone needs to investigate this further. If accusations are true, charges should be filed againts the guilty parents and coaches. Coaches involved should be BARRED from working with children ever again, as any child abuser is. If an example is not made , this absurd behavior will go on. Only those of impecable character, and without anger management issues, should be allowed to teach/coach children. How do we expect kids to grow up right if that's the type of rold model they have. No wonder some professional athelets today are in trouble as much as they are. Seems like despi

I'm looking for an old black suit-Secret Service style, and really black sun glasses. Brandon want to dress up like Uncle W----- (ssshhh, it's a secret) for halloween!! Any suggestions for the best hair gel to make "helmet hair" would be appreciated.

any new members can join. I thionk that "closed group" means that your feeds don't go to everyone you know, just those in the group. just click on the request to be a member thing, and someone will accept your membership. Then, go to the top of your page, and "edit group" to keep from getting all those e-mails and notifications-very bothersome to be notified every time someone posts something!

HMMM! Seems to be what's happening everywhere. We had someone put out a box at the paulding Cooks for charity thing, and not one donation. On the bright side, a lot of Pcommers have contacted me and made a few donations-HEY, thanks NC-17 for your donation yesterday, and I'll be cooking up those turnip greens today!!! Can't wait, but I have to get some hog jowls, or maybe I'll try your sugestion, and get a smoked turkey leg! Also picked up a nice donation of stuff for my "pet lovers" basket for the fall festival at New Georgia Elem-thanks to Georgia Walters. I am still looking for a kitten for

I have had U-verse for at least 6 months now. I do pay about $199 a month, but let me tell you what I get. I have 2 cell phones with a total of 550 minutes, with rollover-it includes long distance service. I also have my home phone with unlimited local and long distance included. I also have the highest speed internet-unlimited again, and finally, I have U-200-more channels than I can watch, and Ed had the "Speed" channel ( something he loves!) They even included 6 months of several movie channels for free-I didn't extend that service, because I just didn't need it. I insisted on FREE installa

My house was robbed in broad daylight....

The best burgular alarm I know of is a barking dog. Even the little yappy ones do the trick. The cowards don't want to attract attention with a lot of noise. Personally, I perfer the large well known aggressive kind-German Shepards, Dobermans, Pit bulls. (I once had all 3 at the same time. The whole neighborhood had been robbed at some time or other, but not me--heheheheh) They may be aggressive to intruders, but no matter what you hear in the news, they are generally loyal loving pets to the family. Pit bulls are wonderful dogs, and smaller in size for those who don't like big dogs. If you ge -
I was surprised at you post-of coarse, everyone has a bad day from time to time. Was out there today, and I asked her about it. She couldn't remember you at all, and said she would have remembered a complaint about the ribs, and especially with the particulars you described!! I got an over cooked hamburger one day, and couldn't stay for another-she comped me for it and offered a hamburger to go. I'm wondering if she wasn't there at the time, and one of the other girls said she was the owner. I have just never know her to be anything but friendly and generous towards the customers. She even bou

Thank you for you thoughtfullness in putting out a box for our BACK PACK PROGRAM. You're terriffic. We are expanding so quickly, and adding on more schools each week. Some are finding themselves starting with only the donated bread, so we hope to help them get a stock pile of needed foods. Our biggest need is always PEANUT BUTTER- so nutrious, and even if we only have that and the bread, it feeds the kids all weekend. Remember that we need to get plastic jars so that the kids don't get hurt! Thank you all in advance for you support.

Wallace's is GREAT-and I rarely say that! have you tried their Friday special-ALL YOU CAN EAT PRIME RIB!!!! ED is a prime Rib nut. He can certainlly eat his fair share and then some. Even their regular plate is HUGE!! Love all their sides too. The owner is a doll, and the wait staff is quick and friendly ( never had to wait for 2nd's and 3rd,s and 4th's on the Prime Rib) It's in the middle of no-where, but worth the trip-much better than putting up with the traffic in Douglasville.
