My Mom cooked every day and Sunday was no exception. I wasn't raised giving significance to any one day over another, but my Mom was one of the best cooks in the world. I have the wooden bowl she made our biscuits in . I love it, and the fact that her hands were in it so frequently. It is a treasured decoration in my kitchen now,..and looking at that bowl brings back many happy memories.

Did you guys pick the books up from the store yet? Britaini hasn't told me one way or the other so I thought I had better check. If not, I'll be open tomorrow form 12:00~5:00.

I have a feeling, considering the amount of piercings on his face that he participates in 'Scarification'. It just a bit more extreme form of body modification. Not my thing, but more power to him . Scarification

You have lost your mind, but that is beside the point *joking*. Remember we used to watch the show after school every day, and we would fight over who was really his girlfriend? I think he is one of the only men we ever agreed upon . Love you, G.

I've been seeing these posts on FB from my classmates. It's awful, I graduated in '84 and figure I must have been in one of his classes as some time or another but for the LIFE of me I cannot remember him. My memory gets worse all of the time. So very tragic for his family, they are in my thoughts. The most painful loss to deal with is the one that is completely unexpected and seemingly without reason .

"With you, never a 'quickie', always a 'longie' . George Hamilton, ~Love at First Bite "How's that for a slice of fried gold" ~Shaun of the Dead "Selling books is a game, it has rules and you need to learn those rules, and you need to get serious about them because it is not a game" ~ Dylan Moran from the cancelled BBC 'Black Books' This show in it's 3 seasons was so full of awesome quotes that there are websites devoted to it . I really wanted to click two: No, AND That is Beneath Me. You are responsible for your own actions, and you reap what you sow.

That pallet furniture is so cool. My Papa (dad) is a builder, and Britaini has 'puppy-eyed' him into building a pallet couch for the soon to be sitting area at the store. I cannot WAIT to see what he comes up with .

Awwww. much love right back!! Oh no, I didn't take it that way . I got what you meant...and yes, social media is an extremely powerful tool. Amended to say, I saw friends and friends of friends who genuinely seemed to be mourning her passing catching hell from 'friends' who thought they were being ridiculous in light of more important events going on. I thought it was a crappy thing to do. It isn't my business to place my friend's priorities or assign to them the emotions I think they should carry. My posting the next day was simply to voice my thought, without try

I know that I personally did not chastise anyone that was truly upset. I really don't fully grasp the upset, but that doesn't invalidate that individuals feelings or my respect for the person who has them. I just disagree with the week long media focus, was really exhausted with it after the first day. I did post my opinion ONCE through the display of one soldier lost the same day as she passed. That was my one 'comment' if you will. Folks who blast 'friends' for differing opinions on the matter are just assholes and really shouldn't be counted as friends...
