  1. The graduation test is incredibly easy. I had to take it early, in ninth grade, and scored very high on all subjects... People have tons of chances to take it, and frankly, there is no excuse to fail any part of it as an honor student. Perhaps this honor student is like one of the honor students from my high school, who was also a star athlete, who everyone thought was smart til they bombed the SAT, couldn't get into any decent schools, and finally admitted to cheating all thru high school, with some coaches help...
  2. I'd contiminate the food on purpose, and if he complains, tell him it's your food, you can do what do you damn well please with it. Bake some Brownies, but use castor oil instead of vegetable oil. That'll teach the smug bastard...
  3. We've got the game that comes with the kinect for xbox 360, and the mini games in there like kickball, etc... will really get you moving. And it doesn't feel like exercise, because you are so focused on kicking that damn ball.
  4. Sadly, no good neopaganist services in the armed services yet...
  5. We don't want to give the extremists another reason to attack us.
  6. we are not recommending IE9 at my work right now. It's caused alot of people problems, and doesn't seem to provide enough of an improvement to warrant the additional issues. I generally stay away from IE though, it's not a great program.
  7. amen It looked to me more like the second officer didn't see the full situation, or do their job in restraining the aggressive woman. It didn't look like the woman was hit hard at all, and she certainly was trying to hit the police officer hard. Frankly, I have no sympathy for people that act like idiots, then put their hands on police officers. I hope she rotted in jail for a few days, and someone tells her to shut up, grow up, and not even think about suing the city because she felt like being an ass and hitting a police officer.
  8. I grew up near there. It's worth seeing at least once.
  9. You can't call them Easter Eggs anymore. They are a religious symbol, because everyone knows that jesus lays easter eggs.... Gotta love dumb people who want to censor santa claus and the easter bunny, because they have no idea what they represent
  10. This kind of stuff pisses me off. It sounds like a publicity stunt, and if it was, I'd like to see them both locked up.
  11. Comcast already has a 250 gig cap. You can check it thru your account page on comcast.net. Almost all service providers have these at this point, there is no way you should be going over though, considering that I've never gotten close, and am streaming data back and forth for a large variety of purposes almost 24/7.
  12. I know someone who was seriously considering opening this same concept on the square about a year and a half ago, but decided against it after not seeing the volume of student traffic they were anticipating. There are a ton of businesses that could do well in that area, but it seems like for whatever reason they do not, I think mainly due to all of the restrictions, ie alcohol and outdoor dining... The person's other concept was wings, burgers, and beer, but they switched to the other idea once they found that the alcohol was not at option on the square.
  13. It's faked. If you look at the video closely, it's been spliced together, where he made one shot, then they had him try the next til he made it, and the third, and then cut out the misses.
  14. I just don't understand why someone starts a topic, and makes three seperate posts with no responses.
  15. The police won't be much help in the matter until something has already occurred. What I suggest is this: 1. file the TPO, and try to get a permanent restraining order. 2. Buy several cans of Bear Mace. 3. If they come by, and set foot on your property, spray the living hell out of their eyes, call 911, and wait for them to be hauled off to jail. 4. Get a gun for protection just in case they come by shooting. And whatever you do, don't just drop it. I've learned thru personal experience that if someone decides to leave you alone for now, it doesn't mean that the situation is r
  16. I personally like Target. And their prices are about the same as Walmart's now that Wally world has jacked their prices up.
  17. My grandparents have their lights permanently installed, but they only plug them in during the holidays.
  18. Non smokers can easily tell who smokes. I know who is coming and going within about 20 feet of me by the smell of the smoke on them as they go take smoke breaks, even when it's windy outside, and they barely get any actual smoke on them. It stinks alot more than most people who smoke realize.
  19. I broke mine once, the whole thing turned black, and I halfway thought it was going to fall off. I did the advil/tylenol alternation, took some sleepy medicine at night so I would sleep thru, and tried not to touch it. After a while I forgot it was there, unless I hit it on something else. The worst part was getting it straight again, mine was almost at a right angle initially.
  20. This is the million dollar question. If it just slipped his mind, because it really isn't a big deal, then I don't see how this is an issue at all.
  21. my little battery operated tv does still get one station occasionally, though I honestly have no looked to see what channel it is. The other option you have is to get a battery operated radio, or better yet, get a handheld tv like mine that has a am/fm radio built in.
  22. My parents always did this when they'd be far enough away that they couldn't get back to us within a day or so. The main reason they did it is that if it came down to doing a risky but necessary procedure that was time critical, hospitals usually require a signature from the parent/guardian due to the risk. Especially if there is a less risky option that will only stabilize, but not treat. I would never leave my child for very long without signing one of these, and leaving it with someone who is close by that I trust to call me, explain the options, and then relay my decision.
  23. People were murdered because we have a group of psycho terrorists running around out there. The psycho preacher was probably morally wrong to have burned the book, but I can't help but get a bit of a chuckle every think about pissing off a terrorist. And before anyone asks or assumes, I'm neither a christian nor a member of the man's church. Just a atheist who thinks all of you who are nuts about your religion are causing unnecessary strife for the rest of us.
  24. The attorney I used was from Cartersville, He was male, but he was a total wimp.
  25. I thought it was illegal to smoke on school grounds regardless of whether you were a parent, employee, or student... I know it was illegal at the last state facility I worked at...
